She probably can’t even cook arugula..
Small reason why I believe vocational/technical high schools and colleges to be as good as or better than some colleges.
I don’t have a college education, but you put something in front of me and if it’s not extremely heavy, it’ll be put together. Various things around the home can also be fixed as well. I could also hold conversations with a large variety of people, including NASA scientists.
Education is by no means a measure of one’s common sense.
Seeing as she is an engineer, you should not be surprised. ;^)
That would be epic. Sometimes it's worth risking your job to make a comment like that.
The European women I know are creeped-out by the religion thing. They equate that with being "uneducated." It's the whole secular-humanism-is-the-highest-form-of-life concept.
Yeah. Those Germans are an aggressively stupid bunch. My extremely liberal history professor this semester told the class yesterday that while in Australia for the 2004 election (of course he voted Kerry) he was accosted by a group of Germans. They were all in a bar and were harassing him about our election and EV process. He said they actually said we had to change our electoral vote system to popular vote, and that since the US has so much influence in the world, THEY should have a say in who is elected. Even my liberal twit professor was appalled. There is a mental illness running rampant in this world today.
She’s clearly just a bell burve errrrrr ahhh .... glockenspiel graduate scheissekopf !....:o
Doom on her......and her “your a peein” friends !
Germans are still trying to cope with themselves for the Second World War.
Yeah, me too.
(Warning, thread hijack!)
Not my intent.
I shut down an twenty million operation today, Engineering Stop Order.
I'm but a lowly inspector but after finding the depth of the problem they shut down the entire operation.
(and no, in advance the problem parts were made in the ole USA not China)
Meanwhile I suspect the spin will be
"We found out why nothing passes test and everything will be fine now"
30 years of this stuff, you can't make it up!
That’s what you call “book smart”. Theoretical, not practical.
Sounds like they teach students to have unjustified high esteem only in Euroweenie schools too.
I was really impressed how he hauled everything in on his flat trailer, set up his benches, fan and "Rush Radio" in the garage in 120 degree heat and put the whole thing together and up all by his ownsome.
One of the libs I work with actually said this:
“Can you believe Sarah Palin and her ‘holier than thou’ attitude about KEEPING her Down Syndrome baby?”
Yep. When it comes to Socialists, you can’t make this stuff up. This woman has no husband, no kids, and lives with her smelly old dog. How rich her life must be.
*Rolleyes*
(Sarah having a private conversation with President Uribe of Columbia...:)
1/2 inch bolts- must have been a Sears or Chaimberlain opener. Garage door ping!!
Education does not always equal (!=) intelligence, or smarts. Some of the greatest leaders in history (not just American) haven't had great educations. But they had intelligence and smarts and they believed in themselves.
I bet if it has been a chemical spray nozzle or maybe an industrial oven she would have had that fixed in a jiffy.
I’ve found that Germans LOVE Hillary Clinton.
I am reminded of the old anecdote told by some famous motivational speaker. It speaks to the notion of how elitists frequently look down upon laborers, but are nonetheless captive to them, because of their own stupidity. It went something like this:
I woke up Sunday morning to find a puddle on my kitchen floor by the sink. There was water leaking from under my sink. After calling a number of plumbers who said they could not respond on a Sunday, I finally got a guy who would come out. He said it would be $100 for him to show up and $25 for every half-hour thereafter. Desperate, I agreed.
He showed up soon enough, looked under the sink, applied a wrench to a valve nut, tightened it 3/4 of a turn, closed up his bag and said that would be $125.
Flabbergasted, I yelled at him, “you’re telling me that for you to come out here and turn a nut 3/4 of a turn, it’s gonna’ cost me $125!?”
“That’s right, sir,” he replied.
“Why, I’m a world renowned motivational speaker,” I told him, “and even I don’t get paid $125 for 15 seconds of work!”
“Well,” said the plumber, “when I was a world-renowned motivational speaker, I didn’t get paid that either. So that’s why I’m a plumber. $125, sir”
