The United States Sovereignty Stability Act

John, say this tonight.

"My friends, look, we have a serious problem in America. It's a major problem not just of its own creation, but by the sheer disagreement with how best to satisfy all American's in how to fix it. Illegal immigration has cost American lives, American livelihood's, and perhaps the most costly of all; our sovereignty. My friends, I've been thinking really hard on how best to solve this mess and I think I've come up with the way to best approach the issue"

"My friends, during this campaign I have met with a great many American's, people of all walks of life, and they're mad, mad as heck that their government seems powerless, or politically cowardly to do anything about it, so with this understanding I put here tonight a plan that will invariably cause some of my core constituency to hate the idea, it will certainly cause my liberal ideologues; including my opponent Senator Obama to cringe, but I think that most American's will embrace the idea, and, after all, we must develop plans and ideas with this goal in mind as legislators. We know we can't please everyone, but we must always strive to appeal to the masses, anything less would be against our core democratic principles of freedom and liberty"

Ok, so go ahead and slam me, but I believe John has to do something, so why not shift focus?

What, nothing? :)

Come on surely there is some criticism?

Maybe some are too lazy to go to the link so here it is in its full form.

John, say this tonight.

“My friends, look, we have a serious problem in America. It’s a major problem not just of its own creation, but by the sheer disagreement with how best to satisfy all American’s in how to fix it. Illegal immigration has cost American lives, American livelihood’s, and perhaps the most costly of all; our sovereignty. My friends, I’ve been thinking really hard on how best to solve this mess and I think I’ve come up with the way to best approach the issue”

“My friends, during this campaign I have met with a great many American’s, people of all walks of life, and they’re mad, mad as heck that their government seems powerless, or politically cowardly to do anything about it, so with this understanding I put here tonight a plan that will invariably cause some of my core constituency to hate the idea, it will certainly cause my liberal ideologues; including my opponent Senator Obama to cringe, but I think that most American’s will embrace the idea, and, after all, we must develop plans and ideas with this goal in mind as legislators. We know we can’t please everyone, but we must always strive to appeal to the masses, anything less would be against our core democratic principles of freedom and liberty”

“Therefore my friend’s, I must first lay out what I truly believe to be the situation as it presently stands, no bull, no politics, just the plain truth. It is estimated that there are well over 20 million illegal immigrants currently in America, they’re here because of a failure of the last 25 years of government to protect our borders, but they’re here because America has something to offer them, even if that something is diminished, and less than what American citizens enjoy on a day to day basis; it is far better than what they have at home. This is why they come, primarily they come to seek opportunity, to seek freedom from oppression, from brutality, from crime, they come because America is the greatest, most exceptional nation on Earth”

“I would have a hard time believing that most of them are criminals. It is true that the very nature of their existence here is in-fact, criminal, but lets brush that aside for a moment and put ourselves in their shoes. Would we, you and me; would we not do the same? I think that if you ask yourself that question, and are truly objective, the vast majority of you would say of course we would, so then, placing blame from a criminal standpoint on the very action of ignoring our laws, is a moot point if we can acknowledge that we would do the same, if given the same set of choices”

“My friend’s, it is my belief that at least 90% of the illegal immigrants currently in our nation, are good people, mostly law abiding people with a strong family ethic, God fearing, and hard working. Think about it. Isn’t this a fairly accurate representation of what an American citizen is? Of course it is, so how do we solve the problems associated with illegal immigration?” I suggest that in my first 3 months of taking office we do the following and in this order.

I implore congress to adopt and ratify the following legislation: The United States Sovereignty Stability Act

1. With the permission from the States to immediately deploy US federal and the States Nation Guard to seal off the borders to the North, South, East and West.

2. Employ the US Coast Guard and US Navy to patrol the Eastern and Western shores.

3. To mandate that all illegal immigrants in this nation walk into their local immigration office, and present themselves for registration within 3 months of the enacting of this legislation.

4. To mandate that all registered immigrants be given the opportunity to meet the qualifications of citizenship, and or resident alien status.

5. Barring any criminal activity or crimes of moral turpitude mandate that all registrants be given resident alien status with a goal of becoming US citizens.

6. Mandate that after this three month window, that all businesses employing none registered immigrants be fined no less than $50,000 dollars per illegal employment.

7. Mandate that all registrants that meet the criteria for status pay to the US Federal Stability Fund no less than $3000 per family, or $2500 per individual spread out over three years as a tax garnishment, or wage garnishment.

8. Mandate and empower Federal law enforcement, along with State and local law enforcement the ability to seek out and capture all none registered immigrants after the three month window.

9. Mandate that non-compliance by any State, or local agency be stripped of any, and ALL federal funding for ANY programs currently subsidized by the Federal government until such a time where compliance has been verified.

10. Mandate that any non registered immigrants be deported immediately if they have not registered within the three month window, no exceptions.

“My friends, this may seem harsh to some of you, or not enough by others, but in any objection the one thing you can not say is that it will not work. It will work, and here’s how we’re going to pay for it.”

1. The US Stability Fund is a strict fund whereby deposits come directly from registered immigrants that choose to adopt and follow the directives of this government.

2. The roughly 20 million immigrants will generate roughly $70 Billion dollars over three years in the initial fines imposed. $3000 spread out over three years is about $84 per month and can be absorbed by most families and would not create an undue burden on them.

3. The program will continue to be funded by roughly 1/3rd of all federal taxes collected from registered immigrants over the next 10 to 15 years until such a time where proper border security protection devices are established and through technological innovations scale back on Us and State military personnel.

4. The program seeks to reward honest families and individuals and strictly punish non compliance once and for all without exception.

5. The effects of registering 20 million immigrants will add 20 million tax paying residents to the nations income, offsetting healthcare deficits, property and school deficits, and employment inequality.

“My friends this plan may need to be worked more for the finer details, and I extend my hand across the aisle to broaden inclusion of bi-partisan input, but I grantee you that whatever is finally adopted will not include earmarks, or pork, it will be one bill for one purpose. That is to secure our borders, and to welcome honest hard working residents to our nation, and to punish those that continue to ignore our warnings.”

My name is John McCain and I approve of this message.
