An Examination of Obama’s Use of Hidden Hypnosis Techniques in His Speeches
Penn Pressley via Expose Obama.com ^ | 17 October 2008

Posted on 10/17/2008 1:01:22 PM PDT by Fractal Trader

THE EVIDENCE IS HERE: This document contains over 60 pages of evidence and analysis proving Barack Obama’s use of a little-known and highly deceptive and manipulative form of “hack” hypnosis on millions of unaware Americans, and reveals what only a few psychologists and hypnosis/NLP experts know.

Barack Obama’s speeches contain the hypnosis techniques of Dr. Milton Erickson, M.D. who developed a form of “conversational” hypnosis that could be hidden in seemingly normal speech and used on patients without their knowledge for therapy purposes. Obama’s speeches intentionally contain:

Obama’s techniques are the height of deception and psychological manipulation, remaining hidden because one must understand the science behind the language patterns in order to spot them. This document examines Obama’s speeches word by word, hand gesture by hand gesture, tone, pauses, body language, and proves his use of covert hypnosis intended only for licensed therapists on consenting patients. Obama’s mesmerized, cult-like, grade-school-crush-like worship by millions is not because “Obama is the greatest leader of a generation” who simply hasn’t accomplished anything, who magically “inspires” by giving speeches. Obama is committing perhaps the biggest fraud and deception in American history.

I got this link from my subscription to ExposeObama.com. This one seems a bit outrageous and may hurt the credibility of the web site.

Your thoughts:

Is Obama using hypnosis to lock up the election? Secret signals which are to be turned on on Nov 4th?

Hypnosis is not magic. Obama uses the techniques of a con-artist, which can come close to hypnosis, I guess. Now I’ll actually have to read the article ....

Barack Obama’s speeches contain the hypnosis techniques of Dr. Milton Erickson, M.D.

Milton was a communication genius. He was studied and modeled by the founders of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Tony Robbins was a student of NLP. Bill Clinton hired Robbins to train his crew. I am not surprised that Obama is trained in these techniques. To the democrats, they understand that their message can suck but they can get elected if their delivery is powerful.

God blessed Sen. Obama with the gift of charisma — the ability to make people love oneself on the basis of one’s personality alone. Charisma is the closest thing to a real-life “superpower” there is.

It’s a shame has a chosen to use his charisma to lead people down the wrong path.

I’m FReeping from Scotland - a long planned vacation. A few nights ago we watched a BBC production on Obama vs the Pitbull. A journalist said he’d interviewed Obama & was just mesmerized by him, totally impressed. A couple of days later his wife read his notes & underlined all the places Obama had totally contradicted himself. The fellow hadn’t even noticed during the interview, even though he was writing it down.

While this is hogwash, it is clear to me that Barack Obama has deliberately trained himself to speak in an extremely reassuring cadence, tonality and pitch.

Almost everyone says that he is an "excellent speaker."

However, the content and organization of his speeches and the quality of their prose are quite ordinary and unimpressive on the printed page - unlike the speeches of a Lincoln or a Bryan.

His speeches themselves aren't excellent - his manner of delivering them is extremely soothing and reassuring.

From AsiaTimesOnline, Feb 26, 2008

Barack Obama received at least some instruction in the Islamic faith of his father and went with him to the mosque, but the importance of this experience is vastly overstated by conservative commentators who seek to portray Obama as a Muslim of sorts. Radical anti-Americanism, rather than Islam, was the reigning faith in the Dunham household. ...

Barack Obama is a clever fellow who imbibed hatred of America with his mother's milk, but worked his way up the elite ladder of education and career. He shares the resentment of Muslims against the encroachment of American culture, although not their religion. He has the empathetic skill set of an anthropologist who lives with his subjects, learns their language, and elicits their hopes and fears while remaining at emotional distance. That is, he is the political equivalent of a sociopath. The difference is that he is practicing not on a primitive tribe but on the population of the United States.

There is nothing mysterious about Obama's methods. "A demagogue tries to sound as stupid as his audience so that they will think they are as clever as he is," wrote Karl Krauss. Americans are the world's biggest suckers, and laugh at this weakness in their popular culture. Listening to Obama speak, Sinclair Lewis' cynical tent-revivalist Elmer Gantry comes to mind, or, even better, Tyrone Power's portrayal of a carnival mentalist in the 1947 film noire Nightmare Alley. The latter is available for instant viewing at Netflix, and highly recommended as an antidote to having felt uplifted by an Obama speech. ..."

The polls are misleading because some of Obama’s commands are designed to be triggered only in the voting booth on November 4th.

Some of you who are so boldly proclaiming that you're immune from Mr. Obama's tactics better not be so quick to assume as much! Just WAIT until you try to pull the lever for McCain on November 4 -- your heart will scream yes, but your arm will scream "OOOOOOOOOO!!!"

From Rules for Radicals, Alinsky outlines his strategy in organizing, writing:

"There's another reason for working inside the system. Dostoevsky said that taking a new step is what people fear most. Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution."[2]

Are you aware that hypnosis was used as a form of anasthesia as early as the Civil War? Are you aware that a patient in a state of hyposis is known (it's been measured, duplicated, & documented) to have lower and more consistent blood pressure levels, hence the use of hypnosis over the decades in many medical settings?

The subconscious mind is both powerful and vulnerable -- vulnerable especially for those who think it's all a "bunch of hooey."

I didn't read the 67-page linked PDF file, and while I may agree with you that it smacks a bit of tinfoil hats, that isn't because of the hypnosis angle. The old saying, "Cry, you'll feel better" turns out to be physiologically accurate and true because human tears shed in grief (as opposed to "onion" irritant tears) contain a particular chemical or hormone or something (I've forgotten) known to be associated with grief and depression in people. No "hooey," just reality. I am not as cavalier as you in dismissing the proven phenomenon of hypnosis.

Your problem is that you are too focused on the word "hypnoses." It is not that you literally enter a trance and do what you are told, but rather the technique relies upon a suspension of disbelief, whether willing, or just inadvertent.

As the original article states:

“The only thing you need to do to break a negative hypnotic spell that has been cast on you is begin to think rationally, to begin to think critically. And if you decide that you choose this message as one that’s good for you, by all means sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. But, if you decide that this is not something you want to have in your life, just simply analyze it, criticise it, ridicule it, and say “Hey, that’s not how the world works.” And you’ll have protected your mind from taking on board something which you really dont need.”

There is nothing tin foil hattish or diabolically sinister about this. The article is just emphasizing that Obama has figured out how to bypass and never address the critically rational parts of the brain of a large number of listeners.

Most of us would agree that that that is the obvious case with his supporters.

Quote from the article:

“However, a very small percentage of the population actually study subconscious manipulation of not only
how people feel about them, but how to manipulate and alter the beliefs we usually come to by our rational
judgment, reason, and experience ... Obama is an expert at this type of artificial manipulation.

In other words, Obama is a typical Demosocialist politican.
