Warrants for drug violations, assault, murder included in Operation Black Rain

Dozens of members of the Mongols Motorcycle Club have been arrested after federal agents made raids in as many as six states from the West Coast to the Midwest.

At least 110 federal arrest warrants have been served for charges ranging from racketeering, murder and drug violations.

One of the raids happened at a home on Melannie Court in San Jose. An explosion happened happened at that house on Sept. 18, just days after the killing of a rival Hells Angels leader in San Francisco.

At least 160 search warrants were being served across Southern California and in Nevada, Oregon, Colorado, Washington and Ohio. Several arrests were made in Southern California, where the gang's headquarters are located.

The arrests are part of a three-year multi-agency undercover investigation called Operation Black Rain, in which four ATF agents became fully-inducted members of the gang.

The Mongols are primarily Latino and formed because the Hells Angels refused to allow Hispanic members.
