Dreyfuss slammed the film on The View,
calling it "six-eighths of a great film"
and said that he did it only for the money.
"Imagine working for Sean Hannity
you can be a fascist, even when youre on the left,"
he told the ladies of the View.
The film isnt exactly breaking any box office records,
and may not recoup the $30M it needs to break even.
Perhaps this comes down to paycheck issues.

“You could double for Bill Ayers in a movie”
He really could, quite convincingly. He’d have to lose a little weight though. I think Richard Dreyfuss is a halfway decent actor in the sense that he’s believable in his roles, but he doesn’t have much charisma, so you end up not liking his character very much. I not saying this about him just because he’s a liberal. I’m pretty sure Morgan Freeman is a democrat too, but I find him to be believable and likeable in everthing he’s in.
Is he still going to swingers clubs in NYC to watch gang bangs?

A friend of mine who’s a movie reviewer (Frank Ochieng)
slammed “An American Carol” as unfunny. I told him I
thought the vast majority of film critics were liberal,
and they were injecting their politics into their reviews.
He denied his lib views affected his review, as he
simply thought the film was unfunny, tepid, etc.
Oh, and last Sat night when he appeared on the Jordan
Rich show (WBZ Boston) he pronounced Josh Brolin’s
performance in “W” as “Oscar worthy”
Personally, I thought it was 3/4ths of a great film.
Indeed. Dreyfuss is eight-eights an idiot.
What a pretentious asshat.
