Here's a description of a trip to the lake; it's apparently a pretty special place.

Trouble is with places like that, hiking up, you’re full of anticipation and promise.
Then you get there, and it proves to be even more spectacular than you thought! A truly breathtaking and moving experience.
Hiking back down, you end up being some critters dinner.

But at least you get a nice hike out of it!

Sikkim... didn’t they have an American queen back in the 1960s?

Pretty, but after 3 days in Nepal you’ll hardly notice. It’s one of the few places in the world where a view like that can fade into the background.

It’s a very pretty lake but I have seen just as pretty here in Alberta. Lake Morrain and Bow Lake in Banff National Park—you can drive to them and then go on a hike; Miniwonka Loop just outside of the town of Banff takes you to totally majestic mountain and lake scenery; and driving through Kananaskis to the Upper Lakes especially on a clear late September day will overwhelm your senses with beauty. The Upper Lake looks a lot like your picture.

Check these out. There is a man in each one of the pics but you my have to hunt for him - which will give you an idea of the stunning size
