Hey, this is Drew Underwoof of the Modern Conservative Party of America! We are creating our new Conservative political party on July 1st of 2012 at a big convention. We haven't yet decided where, but we are working on it. At the convention, we will be creating the party's Constitution and Bylaws along with electing temporary officials. Check out our website here. You can register to become a founder there if you want to be a part of this new party. Feel free to E-Mail me here

I don't mean to be a spoiler, but didn't Obama find out he had to use the Democratic Party as a vehicle for his Socialist Demoratic Party views?

There are already other parties out there that represent *some* or *portions* of my views. Libertarian, Constitutionalist, even Green (it was Ralph Nader who did get us seat belts). Third parties at this time don't have enough traction, and no party reflects all my views. I don't personally like experimentation on live animals if it involves inflicted suffering and death, even though I know certain medical cures may result from it, but no way would I get involved with their PETA's complete agenda and violent approach, same with some issues about the environment.

Overall conservatism through the GOP suits me the best for now. We have to remember we are only part of the GOP, not central to it, any more at least.

Whatever grassroots organization may spring up as a result of this election with enough clout to win, it will have to incorporate my pro-life and other conservative views such as adhering to the constitution, capitalism, education reform back to center and not further radicalized, etc., etc., etc. I don't know what a real conservative is.

Well if the GOP does not wise up and fire the RINOs running the party and get back to Reagan conservative roots, they're going to find that, as time goes on, more and more conservatives have abandoned them and they won't be able to win a dog-catcher's election.
