Did anyone actually sit through the Obama 1/2 hour prime time "speech" last night? I've seen little mention on it here so far. Any opinions?
The “Live” thread would be a good place to look.
Right timing and costs very little money.
Did Obama purchase carbon credits for his blast of HotAir?

::no, didn’t watch::
Chris Matthews must buy a lot of Shamwow.
Nope. I was blessing my kids with my time and attention.
“In my first presidential address, let me say, l,état, c’est moi!”
I didn’t see it — but maybe this will do instead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUqCuYMM67c&feature=related
Cannot listen to that idiot for more that 3 seconds at a time. I figure if there is anything he said that I need to know, someone will play the clip ... so far this morning, Ol’ NOBAMA is being pretty much IGNORED..
How do you say that in Swahili? It might look good on his Presidential seal, instead of the earlier attempt "Vero, possumus!" ("Truly, a possum!)
Why listen? The “message” is available 24X7 in any broadcast or newspaper. Who does he need to convince anyway? Per the polls he has the majority, so why interrupt the game? Even Fidel probably had the decency not to interrupt our bread and circuses.

It was a blast!
Amen! I purposely avoided watching any of it. But today it's on every program I listen to. I am soooooo tired of the conservative talk shows playing sound bytes of the people whose opinions and voices I go out of my way to avoid. I know that sometimes it's really necessary to hear a quote direct from the source, but otherwise just tell me what was said.
Nope! I was tie-dyeing and doing homework and watching a movie.
I heard he was dancing a little dance. Is that true?
Was watching BBC documentary “Shadowlands” about the life of C.S. Lewis. One of many Netflix I have backlogged. Never watch any regular TV or cable. All BitTorrent AVIs and Netflix R-R-R on up-converting Oppo DVD player to 110” projector screen. Can’t even talk to people about asinine commercials but I have seen Jericho, Firefly and several other good series from start to finish. It’s called personal viewing on demand and secession (many like the sound of that word in Texas) from the sheeple bread and circuses crap on cable.
No.
