And in addition I will watch absolutely no news programs on TV. The only way I can think of to strike back at the media is to collectively decimate their ratings by 55 million people so that they will dry up or be forced to get closer to fair again. Actually they will likely turn on 0bama eventually. I hope.

A good thought. I have a handicapped child and we have resisted applying for SSI for him on that basis, thinking we really didn't need to do that, we could manage. Now, hell, if it doesn't matter all that much anyway, I'll grab what I can get along with all of the Obomaniacs. Use some political ju jitsu, use their own crap against them. When they lay me off, it's food stamps and unemployment time.

From what I’ve heard, most of the “social services” offices will turn a blind eye to fraud and abuse. They get paid/budgeted according to how many people they get signed up.

Ugh. I don’t think I can stomach that concept. We are slated to start “drawing” Social Security in a couple of months jointly and have paid in probably at least half a million in taxes over our lifetimes; but I don’t even want to do that and my husband was going to wait until he is 70 to retire, and still plans to work in conjunction to SS. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. . . .
