I Wonder When...

I wonder when we will begin seeing seemingly endless stories in the 'main stream' media discussing and focusing on how the Republicans will get back into power.

TOPICS: Chit/Chat; Computers/Internet; Conspiracy
KEYWORDS:
They seemed to begin the 2006 midterm election a week after Bush was reelected in 2004. Constant stories about what the Democrats "need to do", and it didn't stop for two years. Then, the very next day after the 2006 congressional election, the media jumped onto the 2008 race.

I won't be holding my breath waiting on it to happen this year with regard to the Republicans.

I almost certain that the storyline will be about how fractured the Republicans are. Unless we get strong conservative leadership, they’ll use this in the near future to paint Republicans as inept.

Already happening: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081105/ap_on_el_pr/republicans_future

Saying the party's image has been tainted by "scandals and broken promises," Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina declared: "We have got to clean up, reform and rebuild the Republican Party before we can ask Americans to trust us again." He called for party leaders to "embrace a bold new direction" or hit the road.

My daughter shared with me that more than a few friends in her high school class were able to see right through the Obama charade and openly voiced their dislike of him. She’s 15 years old now and will be old enough to vote in the next presidential election. Inform and educate your kids on conservative principles - they’ll be voters before you know it.
