OK. a suitcase nuke explodes in Washington, D.C., New York City, LA, Miami, or Houston.... who do you launch at? Mecca? Iran? China? NK? Venezuela? Russia?

If one were launched from some such place,we'd know where to retaliate, and Obama I believe WOULD launch... He'd be impeached if he didn't, repubs and some dems would demand it.

While I accept that the Military has such procedures, I have no doubt that once sworn in Obama WILL have the legal authority to launch an attack.

NO President has ever had the “legal authority” to launch just because he wants to and that is my point. He can launch only under certain conditions and Obama will be no different.
