Just noticed that Mel Gibson's "We Were Soldiers" is going to be on in just a few minutes: 2:30 pm East Coast on TNT.
Care to join me?
Excellent movie. Excellent book. Will be there when family leaves to go shopping. They don’t enjoy it.
The book was very moving.
"Ya can't take no pictures from down there sonny boy."
Very good movie. Mel Gibson is an amazing actor.

Good Movie! Maybe the prez elect can watch it and think back to when his freinds were were blowing up police stations to protest this war!
I have the DVD, besides, I was there. Watching NFL instead.
From Kelly Hill to An Khe to La Drang Valley, to NVA Route 60 to Plei Trap Valley. Great memories that I will pass on for now to see NFL Football.
Thanks for your service to your country and for your sacrifice.
My favorite line:
“Oh, and Dear Lord, about our enemies? Ignore their heathen prayers and help us blow those little b@stards straight to hell. Amen.”
I call THAT a warrior!

Watching it right now!
Already moved close to tears.
The reporter and General Hal Moore was on Book Notes on CSPAN last night about a new book they wrote.
The music chosen for the movie was also excellent.
An Khe, South Vietnam

to IA DRANG,
to Bong Son,
to Kim Song

Have the DVD. I can watch that movie endlessly. Also, the alternate endings/deleted scenes are phenomenal.

I wish I could but I canceled my cable LONG ago so as to not fund CNN, MSNBC, or Headline News. I suggest you do the same. If you like the movie as much as I do, I would recommend just buying a copy with the money you save by canceling your cable.
