KING: All right. Let's do a little retrospective. Should you have not done the Katie Couric interview?

PALIN: Sure, I should have done the Katie Couric interview.

KING: Should have done it?

PALIN: Her questions were fair -- I should have done it, yes. And her questions were fair. Obviously being a bit annoyed with some of the questions, my annoyance shows through. And I am who I am, though, and I call it like I see it. And some of those questions, you know, regarding what do I read up in Alaska, were to me a bit irrelevant. And my annoyance at those questions showed through.

But there was nothing off-base, unfair about it. Certainly I should have done the interview. And to attribute I think that interview to any kind of negativity in the campaign or a downfall in the campaign, I think it's ridiculous. I wish that there would be -- would have been perhaps more dilution in terms of that interview being one of many, many.

I wish I could have done more interviews along the trail. And in retrospect, in hindsight, I wish I would had more opportunities or that we would have seized more opportunities to speak more…

KING: Katie Couric, by the way, said last night that she thinks you should keep your head down, work really hard, and learn about governing before contemplating a presidential run. What are your thoughts about her saying you should learn about governing?

PALIN: Well, thank you, Katie Couric, for your advice. And I won't reciprocate in giving her any advice, that's for sure, because I have respect for her and the profession that she is in. I would have greater respect though for the entire profession called mainstream media if we could have great assurance that there is fairness, that there is objectivity throughout the reporting world.

There's not many people on this planet that I would stand in line to smack, but Katie Couric is now at the top of my list, grrrrr!!!!! >:-(

Governor Palin is the literal definition of grace under pressure. She has my vote for President in 2012!!!! Go, Sarah!!! May God continue to bless you and give you the strength to endure the foolish stupidity you are encountering on a daily basis from these liberals!!!

What is the scoop on the Alaska Senate seat. Stevens was ahead by 200-some until they started counting absentee ballots, now he is ahead by three votes. Dear Lord.

All these post-campaign interviews with Governor Palin are SCREAMING at me one thing: Governor Palin's handlers in the McCain campaign lost the election, plain and simple.

By holding out on having her available for interviews and rationing out those interviews, it ruined the momentum her pick had built up, diminished her stature in the eyes of man voters and muzzled the best voice we had.

I hope she runs for President in 2012. It will be amazing to see what she can do when she is calling the shots and has the gloves off from Day One.

Sarah Barracuda is showing up big time. She is not about to let the MSM think they have her beat. She knows that she brings ratings to every show that she is interviewed on and that all of these lackeys for the Democrats can’t refuse ratings so she is killing them where it hurts. They need her and they continue to put her on which means her name gets more out in the mainstream even though they know they are helping her look more credible with each interview. It really is a triumph for her and putting the dagger into them with each interview.

I believe in my heart that God has special plans for Governor Palin. This wasn’t her time, bless her heart :-) but I think God put her in this place to work on her wonderful naivete—it’s gone now, and she’s being honed and is going through the fire and in 4 years she’s going to be back, ready for the shenanigans of her enemies, who are also the enemies of America.

May God bless her greatly in the meantime, even more than He already has. I can’t wait for 2012!! :-)
