Well its raining here in Southern California We are on flood watch in the Burn areas more to follow
I’ve heard that the house races may take place soon if SoCal gets enough rain.
It pours, man it pours!
Long Beach reporting some mild drizzle! All battle stations manned and night storm watch commences! Casualties so far: patio furniture has been hit with small drops of fluid. Some earth has been reported to be wet. Standing firm. Over and out, SIR!
I’m pulling for oprah’s house to be in first place.

Hmmmmm....
The four seasons of Kaleeefornia...
earthquake, brushfire, MUDSLIDE (next), riot...
Fasten your seat belts, please!
Too good!
Hey, I’m visiting a brother here in LA. Apparently rain is a very big deal here!
LOL....That sounds like a FNC news alert.
You don't say! Something other than particulate falling from the sky??
Thinking more about it, perhaps we need a "dry climate bailout." Apparently it doesn't hurt to ask.
There is no noticeable rain here yet though going from storms like this in the past, there'll be flooded freeways, streets and sidewalks as soon as it gets here. The ground can't absorb much water let alone the amount of rain predicted.
On the other hand, the rain should wash all the ash and particulates out of the air. It's been very difficult breathing since the fires. My area got hammered from the smoke. There has been new ash settling on my car and outside surfaces every single day.
“Apparently rain is a very big deal here!”
More often refered to as liquid sunshine by the visitors bureau.
my puppies first rain storm. he doesn’t know what it is. it is funny.
I hope I get to see some snow on the way!
Do you want me to put any $$$ down for you?
$5,000.00 on double zero at the roulette wheel as is your usual?
lightening in Burbank....barely hear the thunder...must be way up. big accident on I5 @ Colorado...although that is almost a daily occurrance without rain
Welcome to Southern California. When it starts raining and before you start driving in it:
- Remember what you learned in Driver's Ed about hydroplaning.
- Be sure to keep in mind what driving through water does to your brakes.
- Remember to avoid driving in either the far left or the far right lanes of any street or freeway.
- Remember safety rules about driving through what appear to be shallow flood waters.
- Some good news: Disneyland and all major entertainment parks in the area have very short lines when it rains.
Oh oh. I spoke too soon. I now hear the pitter patter of rain drops.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEk!
