My son is just now getting over something-been sick for over 2 weeks. Nasal congestion, running nose at the same time and a terrible cough. He was the only one that got it.

Good morning.
One time the family had been invited to the home of a neighbor for dinner. It came to be dessert time and she had made chocolate pie or some such pie like that. Her daughter was helping her bring the pie out. The daughter finished her responsibilities came and sat down. After she sat down, this girl was in high school, she quietly rotated her pie so the point was facing her. It was done almost unconciously.
But I, having remembered the episode with Grandfather, told the daughter that most people rotate their pie, etc. I pointed out that our hostess’s pie was not pointed “correctly” and suggested that we watch and see what the hostess did when she sat down.
So, the hostess came out, sat down, and rotated the pie.
We all laughed.
Clara grew red in the face, looked around the table and demanded to know what we were laughing at and whether we had doctored the pie. We assured her that everything was fine. That took a while because everything that Clara was doing made us laugh more.
Clara refused to eat a bite until we began eating. She thought we had doctored the pie. She had not noticed that she moved her piece in any way at all.
I love pie for breakfast.
And cold lausagne.
