The thought of a 15ft great white shark ripping through a metal cage and heading straight for you is the stuff of nightmares but it was a reality for two scuba divers in Mexico.
The terrifying incident unfolded as the two men took part in an ultimate shark diving experience and watched the two tonne shark feeding on tuna.
Caught on camera, the film shows the shark suddenly veering towards the cage, jamming its head between the bars and smashing it to pieces while the divers scramble for safety.
One of the divers, calling himself ScubaDubaDive, posted the hair-raising clip on YouTube, where it has been viewed over half a million people.
But he insists the shark was not deliberately attacking them claiming the man-eater was temporarily blinded as he fed and veered into the cage accidentally.
He said: It is just that after it hit the tuna in front of the cage its eyes were closed to protect them. It hit the cage blind and then reacted.

Squids eject a black cloud of ink to befuddle their attacker and escape. In this case, my cloud would have been brown.
The camera work in Jaws was much better...these guys need to get a tripod so the video isn't so shaky ;-)
I love that pic!!
