I was petrified and I didn't touch it - I didn't know if it would go off.
Yeah, unloaded weapons have a habit of doing that...

A grandmother was left petrified when she was sent a police machine gun in the post by mistake. Today's Britian. People traumatized by the sight of a gun. Makes me want to puke.

Not a real gun.
Assistant Chief Constable Adrian Whiting, of Dorset Police, said: 'Because this item isn't actually a firearm it is lawful for the company, the suppliers, to use a courier as they did.

Yeah, I was looking at the power supply plugged into the pistol grip butt.
Some sort of training aid most likely. Can’t have the coppers firing of live rounds, now can we.

That is a GORGEOUS gun. I would love to own it.
However, as gun rights fanatic as I am, I am somewhat convinced that automatics do not belong in untrained hands.
At the very least do a background check and a 2 week training course

"Instead, she found the Heckler & Koch black sub-machine gun staring back at her..." Appalling -- she had ordered it in pink!

When the terrorists strike, maybe they can use the laser to temporarily blind them. Or maybe since the rifle is so “scary looking,” they will just crap themselves and give up.

Well, I’m trained, I’ll take one. However, I’ve never really heard a good explanation for why police departments need fully automatic weapons either. I can’t put together a scenario, no matter how well armed the bad guys are, that spray and pray would be the best tactic.

Today's Britian. People traumatized by the sight of a gun. Makes me want to puke. A while back there was a dead serious article about a loose .22 shell that someone found in an entryway of some shop. I kid you not, they made it sound like someone found a live 155 mm. round in a schoolroom or something. It was absolutely surreal. And it was serious, which I found unbelievable at the time. Not at longer though, from this steady flow of articles showing what the UK has become.
