A mother, whose daughter was fighting for her life, believes that a photograph taken in a hospital ward shows an angel. Colleen Banton, from Charlotte, North Carolina, was facing the agonising decision of taking her daughter off a life-support machine when the 'miracle' occurred.
14-year-old Chelsea had been admitted to the hospital with pneumonia, but a series of subsequent infections and a collapsed lung left the teenager breathing with the help of a ventilator.
Colleen Banton's photograph of an 'angel'. The unusual light
appeared while her daughter Chelsea was
fighting for life on a ventilator
As friends and family gathered to say their final goodbyes, Mrs Banton was alerted to an unusual bright light by a nurse.
'On the monitor, there was this bright light,' she said. 'And I looked at it and I said, "Oh my goodness! It looks like an angel!"...

Well the darn Daily Mail removed the article. Probably had some upset athiest nimwits saddened by any glimpse of religiousity.
I ain’t saying they don’t exist-having too many curious things happen in my own life to be nothing but divine intervention- but that looks too much like a reflection from the sunlight coming in from a window in the far side of the room.
But hey...what do I know?
Anyway, Merry Christmas, y’all!
I think it kind of looks like Lord Xenu, I guess the Scientologists had it right all along.
There is only one Xenu, and Tom Cruise is his profit.
Merry Christmas! Clicked on the source website and sadly, yes, you are right that it could be possible that those who have no faith, being scared of anything that comes from God.
No, this is an angel from HEAVEN.
Merry Christmas.
Even in 2008 miracles still do occuer.
Seems the angel forgot to engage their cloaking device.
Must be a newbie.
Even if it is reflected light from something else it doesn’t preclude it from being divine intervention. God works in mysterious ways!
Darn right, this is the celebration of the birth of Christ after all. No stuff about Jesus and his angels.
We can't have a nice happy story < / sarcasm >
That’s odd, this exact same photograph was in an article the other day that said it was from security cameras.
Which is it? The mother took the picture (apparently from a really tall ladder) or security cameras took it?
Just that the mother is claiming it makes me question it even further.
I fail to see what's odd about it.
The Friends on Fox are covering the angel story this morning. They interviewed a doctor from the hospital, who is also a minister, and she said that there are no windows in that part of the hallway. The doctor said that they thought the angel was bringing the little girl home to Heaven...today is Chelsea’s birthday, too. Merry Christmas, everyone!
Fox News had this on yesterday and in the video you could pretty clearly see
what looked like a head and the top of curved wings. The story went on to say
that the little girl started improving. I got cold chills.
The link was bad but it appears that they just moved it off that day’s page into their archive.
Try this:

I saw the report; the Doctor was great!
>>>>that looks too much like a reflection from the sunlight coming in from a window in the far side of the room.<<<<<
Agreed. I magnified it by 300 percent and that’s exactly what it looks like. A less brilliant version of the “angelic light” is also reflected off of the nicely polished hallway floor.
Anyway I hope the girl gets through it.
I’ll limit my comment on this story to this:
Merry Christmas, all.
You said — “Fox News had this on yesterday and in the video you could pretty clearly see what looked like a head and the top of curved wings. The story went on to say that the little girl started improving. I got cold chills.”
Well..., the Bible has several accounts of angels and many who have appeared to the men of the Bible. But, these are also described as “men” in the Bible (i.e., looking like men). Think about Abraham, about Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah and when they took Lot and his family away. And then, remember, the Bible says that we can be entertaining angels, being *unaware* that we are doing so...
Now..., tell me how we’re going to be entertaining angels, being unaware of that, when they are “glowing” like white light and have wings... LOL...
That’s not the way angels appear, just from what we see in the Bible, itself, which is the inerrant and infallible and perfect Word of God...
Besides that, I’ve got an “angel story” too, in which two angels appeared as “men” and not as glowing figures and wings... :-)
Well..., that’s an *awfully tall mom* to be taking her picture from the ceiling... LOL..
