My post #224 was, I thought, quite good! Hey its been a while- little rusty on “Americanism”. As stated files are elsewhere and go read Hertz.

I just happened to read a thing about “Americanism” influencing International Style of Architecture early 1960’s. What dictionary definition of Americanism should we use? Guess what- I don’t want your answer!]

I am not participating in this. I have left this thread. I know better than to communicate with any of you any longer.

[well BS]

Do you also have a problem with Marines and Boy Scouts?
After all, like the freemason fraternity, both espouse esprit-de-corps, fraternal duties, and patriotic obligations.

[MWT-you don’t get it at all- these are secular organizations. The US military is a SECULAR function. The Boy Scouts (which is relatively what you are compared to inner sanctums of far-higher orders of masonry) are basically as well, responsive to a moral code that is nominally Christian. They do not espouse anything near what even your DeMolay does, which espouses simple Deism infinitely.]

OUTSTANDING response.

[BS hey, you got back!]

Congrats, just saw your post.
The absurd slanders evil people spew at masons makes me ill.
I strongly suspect they are not Christians, determined to make Christians look stupid and evil.

A lot of strange thoughts out there about the Craft and those spouting them can be ever stranger.

Little Bill to Redleg Duke

[May I say to Little Bill he can move back to MA with the rest of the sophisticated rubes wrecking our state. Here is a ‘testimony’ to your own ‘character’ you obviously soaked up while in traction in October. Are you a “Little McCain”?
Could that have been Little Bill in his better days? Is Little Bill a paragon of virtue such I have impugned upon a reputation here? ]

He has 5 small fractures and was placed on morphine, which replaced the daily alchoholic intake that kept Little Bill on the straight and narrow.
Thankfully to this opium derivitive, Little Bill is resting comfortably and harassing all liberal nurses who come to call, and flattering all the Conservative ones with such catch phrases as:
“Hey, Baby, wanna come over and listen to my Ronald Reagan Speeches tonight? Hmmm?”

[To all of you-
When I first got onto this stuff I found a Shriner’s promotion booklet with a pic of the Fez-heads showing a children’s picture book to a very young girl in a burn’s center bed. The depiction was of some new kind of tinkerbell fairy, full-bosomed with about a 14 inch waist and an outfit worthy of a pole-dancer. Two or three old geezers had those near-bulging eyes under the fezed heads and looked, well, not right.

Why don’t your brethren take up study of Missing and Exploited Children, The Frankin Bank / Larry King scandals (involving Boys Town), The Dutroux Scandal of Belgium instead of pushing revealing attire to little girls?

Why do certain lodges embrace Muslim symbols?

And when was the last time you heard of a Shriner’s Convention going off without little sordid stories galore?]

The list is too long to begin.

Like your father (or that which you serve unknowingly, I hope), you take a truth and spin it ever so slightly. You and yours have been doing it since the garden.

Wow, where to begin?

DeMolay does not speak for masons. He was a guy in the fraternity with an opinion.

There are no “inner sanctums of far-higher orders of masonry.” Indeed, there are no “higher orders” of masonry.

Freemasonry is a fraternity, and is as “secular” as the Boy Scouts and Marines. (BTW, the Boys Scouts and Marines were founded by Masons.)

How about this: masonry even cannot be “simple Deism” as the concept inevitably evolves to Dualism.

AND masonry can never be depicted as simply secular. It is DUALLY secular and spiritual. The spiritual “component” of masonry is “heavy”, for lack of a better words, to differentiate it from, say, the Boy Scouts.

Public secular actions by masons are not intrinsically evil. The founding of an arm of the US Armed Forces under the US Constitution is as noble as said authority, w/ basically same w/ Boy Scouts.

The US Constitution lacks conveyance of sufficient authority on morality. The US version was basically a hope and a prayer, if you will, by free-thinkers inclined toward or inspired by Christianity, that natural man would prevail with an innate noble morality. This is impossible given the basic teaching on Original Sin, that man is debased at conception. Now we have this hope-and-a-prayer pretender as “President”. He will, with the supposed “will of the people”, undo the remnants of “Christian Order”. The US will become officially anti-supernaturalist, if it hasn’t already (w/ Roe v Wade, at least- and look what day it is).
Pro-homosexual “hate crimes” and official infestation into
the military are the ‘final straw’. The ACLU has won the day.

A couple of the founders (at least one of the Adams’ said it, I can’t recall which, I think the elder) and later commentators (De tocqueville) so stated the US would not survive without a certain ‘Christian’ morality. It has gotten to the point that the open-endedness has resulted in the defeat of the underlying, unstated ‘Christian’ moral foundation.

The whole movement is: Organized Naturalism.

Say what you want, the charge has been for centuries that the Illuminati and/or Elders of Zion (can’t mention them or I’m an anti-semite) rule over all freemasonry.

I knew a Greek who told me in no uncertain terms he had a brother who was a Greek Orthodox monk who said the Greeks had hardbound evidence holed up in a mountain-top monastery that the French Grand Orient practiced out-and-out satanism in its very highest ranks.

We who have followed this long war have many such ‘stories’. You of course can’t so believe while I say that it is logical end to irrationality.
