I don’t like his politics, but we thought his half-time show rocked! My 14 year old son liked it, too.
To: Savage Beast
I was waiting for him to sing “Born in the USA”. Content no longer applies.

” Looks like Silvio wears a “doo rag” these days. “
Little Steven AKA Silvio has worn that headscarf for a long time. That’s why I think the Sopranos Sivio has that giant hairdo................ sort of makes up for real life.
Don’t know if you felt the same way, but to me, the sound was way off. Don’t like him as person /his music, but Prince was the best music entertainer of the last several SB’s

Who is that on the right? Brabra Streisand? Uncle Fester?

Those are two pretty good Peter Falk imitations.

I'm trying to figure out if he is just a has-been. Maybe he was a never-was.

Benny Goodman died more than 10 years before I was born. My wife introduced me to it because her folks grew up listenting to it and she enjoyed it. Great stuff. They'll still be listening to it a century from now.
Bruce Springsteen might get a corner in a freak museum, if that.

I’m not a huge Springsteen fan, but I liked the halftime show. Thought he did a good job.

Just because you don't enjoy his music does not mean he has zero talent. Millions and millions of people disagree with you, but you're right, of course. One of the most successful musicians of our generation has no talent. The arrogance of some people here is stupifying.
I despise his politics, i wish he'd shut up...but when he sings, there's no denying why he has achieved legend status. And if you've never seen him live in concert, than you have no right to open your big, untalented trap.

My sons, both in their 20’s made the comment about the fact that everyone on the field looks to be well into their 40’s. I ask them why they thought that was...they said...cuz no one our age cares about Springsteen. I had to laugh! Of course my boys are conservative and they have better taste in music than Bruce.

He put on the best halftime show I’ve seen in years.
He needs to stick to performing and leave the politics and activism to others.

Not a Springsteen fan, but my Husband loved the half time show. 59 years old and he can slide across a stage on his knees like a young man. Thank goodness for Pilates, eh?
I never was a fan of his bellowing from back in his earliest days on radio. Last night was a standard 1978-82 first few songs of a show I suppose. I ticked my wife off when I joined Bruce on his standard overwrought, "Whoooooooooooooaaaaoooohhhhh!" on Born to Run.
Oh well. It was only 12 minutes or so.

Even though I clicked on ‘post reply,’ I should have clicked on ‘report abuse’ in response to your posting of Helen Thomas’ picture. My eyes may never fully recover.

Tell me, what music do your sons listen to that they can laugh at Bruce Springsteen.
