Act Now! Production of the worlds most advanced fighter aircraft, the F-22 Raptor, is in jeopardy. Your help is needed to urge the Obama Administration to save more than 95,000 American jobs and more than $12 billion in national economic activity. Keeping the production line of this model aerospace program open is not another bailout; rather, it simply requires that the new administration release funds already authorized by Congress to continue a successful program. By law, President-elect Obama must decide whether to continue the Raptor program during his first weeks in office. Please sign the petition to send the message to Congress that Obama must approve continuing the Raptor program, and send a letter to the White House urging the Administration to preserve F-22 Raptor production to protect American jobs, our economy, and national security!

Here is a link to the hated Democratic underground site where members discuss their feelings on the Raptor in a recnt thread. This has to be some of the dumbest rhetoric I have ever seen come out of this site but, the fact remains, these are the people screaming into Obama’s ear. We need to scream louder especially in matters of national defense.

No offense, but I think the stimulus package should have included that every legal citizen be given an M1 Girand (and ammo). It would only eliminate one F-22.
Get with the times.
ACORN has no use for the F-22 Raptor...
I was kinda lookin’ forward to our Government building a million P-51 Mustangs to go with the tens of millions of drafted soldiers for our new world war. Democrat defense policies have their positives, you know.
[Little irony and sarcasm there.]
“Garrand.”
Agree and agree.
Post was part laugh/cry at the current administration (and past typical admins as to their mil cost cutting) and military appreciation.
That’s why I said it might negate 1 F-22 (which if all legal citizens were armed would eliminate much crime and cost of incarceration and other costs?)
As to personal arms, I believe in the 2nd and the 1st as to talking about them.
I trust that we are in agreement and that neither will have to be used.
I’m willing to sign, but PLEASE can someone make a list where you don’t have to give your mailing address! I don’t need another bushel of mail! I am so sick of this!!!
Much has been made by Democrats that the F-22 was made to compete with Soviet fighters. They say the threat is no longer there.
Bull
Russia has not stopped developing its aircraft. They are working with other countries to develop and jointly produce fighter aircraft. Russia has long supplied Iran and other countries with weapons - what’s to keep them from selling a few there?
We don’t only have state of the art anti-aircraft missile systems to be concerned with, but state of the art fighters.

I hear you. I can’t believe the arguments I’m hearing in favor of scrapping the F-22. I’m convinced they’re all taking crazy pills on the left side of spectrum or else they really are as treasonous as we accuse them of being.
A little treasonous thought mixing with ignorance and extreme egotism.
Many Democrats are true “Peace Freaks”, believing that if we disarm we’ll show the world we’re no threat and everyone will be our friend. No more worries.
