I listened for years (often on FR) how Clinton was going to do the same thing and was going to sign an executive order to stay in office, etc. etc.
I cringe whenever WRKO plays one of those Joe Kennedy ads praising the people of Venezuela for providing his company with heating oil.
DOH! I get it now!
Praise The Lord and pass the ammo.
Obama will suck ass and expand the government to a gross and likely irreversible degree. That's bad enough.
In (hopefully) four years, or maybe (God forbid) eight, he will be out of office and the pendulum can swing a tiny bit back the other way. It hasn't moved much to the right since Reagan, so we're due at some point.
Another Civil War?
Gee, the comparisons with Lincoln were right!
Look about you.
The rejection of this thinking has started with the Resolutions establishing State sovereignty

Couple this brewing opposition with Obama’s bitterness, and you have a recipe for confrontation.
I NEVER felt this kind of escalation with Clinton. Times were different, and Clinton wasn’t bitter to this degree. As long as he got away with his deviant behavior, Clinton left things alone. (I wasn’t one of the tin-foilers!)
“*shrug* Thats how the SS got its start...”
So that would be the American SS, uh, *ss for short. LOL
Soros (moveon.org) is already running ads against John Cornyn here in Austin.
And yes Clintoon was exceptionally bitter - he still is.
Remember the old adage about the end coming not with a bang but a whimper.
The answer is no. Its not even a worthy topic to engage in conversation on. You’d have to start with the concept that military officers would take such orders and carry them out. From the top 500 military officers today...I doubt that you could find more than three that might be willing to even take such orders.
**Look to the National Civilian Security force (as big as, as armed as, and as well funded as the military) They will swear personal loyalty to 0bama**
... a National Civilian Security Force comprised of die-hard commies and freshly released convicts (murderers, rapists and the such) that will free up the prisons for our kind.
grrr.
I believe anything is ‘possible’ and it’s important to consider all scenarios so as to have a ‘plan’ and not be surprised when something horrid does happen.
Preposterous.
And the Democrats made the same accusations about Bush.
It's easy to get caught up in the moment and imagine the worst of opponents. Still, Obama will have a very negative effect on this country if he continues his present policies. It will be subtle. The young man who could have become a skilled electrician will find it easier to live on the new welfare and not become a productive member of the community. The people who bought the house they never could have afforded will expect the government to step in each time they make a dumb decision and not take responsibility for their lives.
But I don't foresee blatant actions like sending troops into state capitals and refusing to leave office. People wouldn't stand for that.
I suggest you go out and get fitted for a tin foil hat.
You mean, aside from an ability to put things in perspective? I mean, really: you've leapt from something Rush said (precisely what, you do not say), to Obama signing an executive order to dissolve state governments -- and somehow making it stick.
How will he "dissolve State Capitals," anyway ...
Perhaps they're installing an Explosive Space Modulator Cannon in his podium, too?
The depth of Obama’s hatred for us makes Clinton seem merely disgruntled. I’m telling you, Obama doesn’t FEEL ANYTHING. He won’t regret spilled American blood.
My conclusion is based on what I know of Obama. Clinton didn’t live in hiding the way Obama did.
Clinton at least had perverse feelings.

time wasn’t right yet, had to wait for just the right catastrophy
