The national tour of Gilligan's Island: The Musical, based on the classic television sitcom of the same name, will arrive at the Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL, March 4 at 1 PM.
"Beginning with the #1 TV theme song of all time," press notes for the new musical state, "Gilligan, The Skipper, Mary Ann, Ginger, The Professor, and The Millionaire and his wife are shipwrecked and trying to get off the island. Natural disasters befall them, hurricanes, quicksand, etc., as they learn to get along and survive. Their biggest challenge comes from the U.F.O. and its Alien, who monitors their behavior. By the end of the play, the castaways manage to defeat the extraterrestrial and save the entire planet, while staying marooned themselves."
I thought Bob Denver was dead. In the spirit of multiculturalism - the new Gilligan will be a Muslim.

she could play the part of the once decent star with her own delusions of grander/self hatred and pity....she tries to" find herself" while going for a three hour boat tour.....becoming stranded on this tiny island where she immediately goes through drug withdrawal and has affairs with everyone on the island, starting with the women first.....
LOST is Gilligan’s Island on crack. At least, Gilligan’s gang left the island and DIDNT want to go back.

So who will be black this time around? Ginger? The skipper? Don’t be surprised. And will the professor be a raving homosexual? We must bring this show into the 21st century, after all. I mean, think what a roaring success it was for the Wild Wild West movie! It had to gross 100, 200 dollars!

The Professor
He is pride. Any man who can make that much crap on a deserted island probably should be concieted, but that doesn't make it okay. He never could fix that damn boat.
Maryann
She is envy. She tried to be as slutty as she could be, but everyone knows that Ginger was the most popular one there. However, a nationwide survey of college students a few years ago revealed that Mary Ann was voted the most likely to have 'done it' on the island.
Ginger
She is lust. If you watch the show very carefully, it's pretty obvious that she was going after the Professor AND Gilligan. What a whore.
The Millionare
Not to be too obvious, but he is greed. What kind of person takes a trunk full of money on a three-hour cruise? Definately the most obvious sinner.
The Millionare's Wife
She is sloth. Can anybody honestly name one damned thing she did for anyone while they were on the island. Honestly!!?? What a waste of space.
The Skipper
He is anger AND gluttony. How evil. The skipper is not only the fatest guy there, but he can't go five minutes without hitting Gilligan over the head with his hat. He deserves double sinnage if anyone does.
Gilligan
One person is left, and we have no more sins. That's because Gilligan is the devil. Who keeps them on the damned island for eternity? The devil. The island is named for him. Definately Satan. Think about it.
