Thank you, dear friend! (((hugs)))
Just finished breakfast - I made apple fritters this morning - and thought you guys might enjoy those, next time you are here for FUD!
Awwwwww, thank you Aqua. What energy those kittens have! (Isn’t there a saying - about energy being wasted on the young?) LOL!
Meg - here is one from Aqua’s link about some cute raccoons:(You have to click the picture of raccoons under the video of the kittens.)

Thank you Conor! You always have the cutest baskets full of kittens! Happy Caturday to YOU, too!
Thank you for your prayers Jaycee.
Actually yes, and no to your question.
My brother in law has been sickly for the past two years. He is 75. He was diabetic and had a bad heart. He went into the hosptial for a " routine" lasix treatment to drain off excess fluid. He called my sister from the hosptial on Thursday night and reminded her to be there early in the AM as he was probably going to be " dismissed to come home"....when she was dressing early yesterday, her son and daughter in law came walking up her driveway. She knew something was amiss...that's when they told her his main artery had just collapsed and he had died instantly. So yes, a surprise in a way.
God is carrying us through a very rough year. This is the second death for us in 6 weeks, and two new cancers in the family. Life is uncertain for sure.

oh my goodness yorkie. I believe my sister’s in-law’s live in Cottonwood! Yikes! What a agressive babe! Our neighbor was telling us that not too long ago he opened his garage and a bobcat ran out!!!! He lives right against a hill and must have left the garage open long enough for him to sneak in!!! Scary!!
Polly
Apple Fritters?? Do you have a recipe my dear???
Love Fritters!

APPLE FRITTERS
Serve apple fritter recipe with syrup or sprinkle with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar.
Ingredients:
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup milk
1 egg
1 T. melted shortening
1 cup finely chopped apple
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar, sifted
Preparation:
Sift together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add milk and egg, then melted shortening; beat until batter is smooth. Fold in chopped apple. Drop by teaspoonfuls into deep hot oil — about 370° and at least 2 1/2 to 3 inches deep — and fry for about 2 to 3 minutes, until nicely browned.
Drain well on paper towels then sift confectioners’ sugar over them, while still warm. Serve as is or warm, with syrup, if desired.
Hi, Conor! I’m doing quite well today, anxiously awaiting Spring’s knock on my door, saying, “I’m HERE!”
Are you doing well? I remember your saying you were going to wear a tux to an occasion - but don’t recall your telling us how the evening went. (I’ve missed a lot of posts, though. If you post the link about your wonderful evening, that would be great!)
Thanks, Conor! I hope it was a huge success!
Way ta go Yorkie!!! Guess what my family is getting tomorrow for brunch after church!!!
You will love them - just be sure the oil isn’t too hot, Polly.
P.S. You have Freepmail, gurl fren!
That was some ‘asplodin’!!! Cute!
That was so sad with your sister expecting to go pick him up and then the sad news came. Goodness, life is so full of surprises for us. Your family sure has endured a lot and if you weren’t a strong family and faith in God, you couldn’t have made it. None of us could frankly! Will be thinking of you, Polly.
