Such a beautiful and serene graphic this morning, Meg. Thanks and God Bless!
Good morning, jaycee..Catching up on all the neat, cute posts yall posted after I turned off the computer yesterday.
Thank you, I loved that picture..It was taken in Sedona, AZ..Wondering if yorkie has seen this chapel.
PS, It’s 32 right now..I wrapped two sheets around the Hibiscus..hope it works..

I am almost positive the sheets would have protected the hibiscus, Meg. I am going to get me one this year. I used to have them but had no luck saving them. How do you tend to it during the winter when its inside? Maybe I could save a pretty one.

This is my first year trying..I had it in the garage this winter..I need to repot it..We’ll see if it comes back..I trimmed it way back when I brought it back onto the patio.
I once decorated a notebook with definitions of the words idea, thought, opinion, preference, belief, and conviction to remind myself that they do not mean the same thing. The temptation to elevate an opinion to the level of a conviction can be strong, but doing so is wrong, as we learn from Romans 14.
In the first century, religious traditions based on the law were so important to religious leaders that they failed to recognize the One who personified the law, Jesus. They were so focused on minor matters that they neglected the important ones (Matt. 23:23).
Scripture says that we need to subjugate even our beliefs and convictions to the law of love (Rom. 13:8,10; Gal. 5:14; James 2:8), for love fulfills the law and leads to peace and mutual edification.
When opinions and preferences become more important to us than what God says is valuable to Him, we have made idols out of our own beliefs. Idolatry is a serious offense because it violates the first and most important command: You shall have no other gods before Me (Ex. 20:3).
Lets resolve not to elevate our own opinions above Gods, lest they become a stumbling block and keep others from knowing the love of Jesus.

Chapel at Tlaquepaque
Fourteen years ago
My dear (late) husband and I
Stood at this alter and exchanged our wedding vows
The alter was surrounded with flowers and lighted candles
Beautiful harp music played softly in the background.
Our dearest friends filled every pew.
Yes, I remember it well.

Thank you , Mayor.Going to look at the videos in a while..
There are SO many wonderful memories from that day, Meg.
It is a tradition here - when anyone gets married in the chapel, the second the minister says, “I now pronounce you husband and wife”, the doors open and the chapel bells start ringing, echoing through the town. It is a real goose-bumper.
My husband was so overwhelmed, he broke down twice during the ceremony - and the minister reassuringly patted his arm, and told him to just take a deep breath.
There was not one dry eye in the chapel that morning.
Thank you for showing the picture, and opening up a flood of beautiful memories.
Good Morning Mayor and all here!
Powerful message!
