I hope you're right. Things can change in a hurry down south of the boarder. But, right now he seems to have a good grip on the reigns of power.

Socialism is when the government buys a business and runs it into the ground. Communism is when the government seizes a business and runs it into the ground.

But Jimmy Carter loves Hugo and said all of his elections are fair???

My guess is if O is not given the boot by SCOTUS soon for his Kenyan BC then we will be in worse shape then Venezuela in 2 years or less.

You would think a bunch of rich guys would just hire a private army to take care of business.

Its not like those types aren't out there.

I’m afraid the progression of famine is now in play as the gov’t gets more and more involved in controlling the food market.

Hah, we are stupid enough to elect Obama and Venezuela was stupid enough to elect (and re-elect) Chavez!

Unfortunately a lot of those rich guys are too busy bringing socialism to the little people of the world. Think George Soros, Ted Turner etc.

” Venezuela’s Chavista-dominated Nationality Assembly passed a law two years later giving the state power to seized underused farmland. “

Once tinfoil land, obviously it’s now it’s possible we could see this someday :

” The Democrat dominated Congress passed a law giving the state power to seized underused farmland. “

The man who (once) owned the land is named Michale Smurfit. From the article...

“He is estimated to be worth more than £400 million and has been honoured by the government of Venezuela for his charitable work.”

This is what happens when you snuggle up to Socialist thugs.
