United States, 27 505 U.S. 144 (1992), that Congress may not simply commandeer the legislative and regulatory 28 processes of the states; and 29 WHEREAS, Congress has inappropriately delegated its monetary authority to the private 30 federal reserve bank, thus failing to protect and provide a sound monetary system as defined 31 and mandated by the Constitution of the United States, forcing an unstable currency on us 32 resulting in the past, and the current, economic perils; and 33 WHEREAS, a number of proposals from past and present Administrations and Congress 34 may violate the Constitution of the United States. 35 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the First Regular Session of 36 the Sixtieth Idaho Legislature, the House of Representatives and the Senate concurring therein, 37 that the state of Idaho hereby claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitu38 tion of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal 39 government by the Constitution of the United States. 2 1 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this serves as notice and demand to the federal gov2 ernment, as our agent, to cease and desist, effective immediately, mandates that are beyond the 3 scope of these constitutionally delegated powers. 4 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all compulsory federal legislation that directs states 5 to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalties or sanctions, or requires states to pass 6 legislation or lose federal funding, be prohibited. 7 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives be, 8 and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy of this Memorial to the President 9 of the United States, the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Represen10 tatives of Congress, and the congressional delegation representing the State of Idaho in the 11 Congress of the United States.
TES after House Memorial 3 (reasserting 2nd Amendment Rights) I knew Idaho was going to be doing this eventually.
It’s a start~
After standing up to a bully the First time..The second isn’t that hard
It’s a non-binding statement of policy interpretation or belief. HJM 3 (still in committee) directed the Idaho delegation in congress to vote against any and all gun rights restrictions, specifically citing HR 45. Which way they vote of course is still their prerogative.
WTG, Idaho.
Good news! The laboratories of democracy have become the stomping grounds of socialists.
Well there are six territories (major) so maybe they need to start the process to declare their indepence too!
ping.
That one statement of him visiting 57 and one more to go, just says volumes, in it self, what he is, or thinks he is.
This hasn’t passed yet. If you’re from Idaho, make sure you contact your representative and Senator to let them know how you feel.
Many of us have been pushing our Rep’s up in the Northern part of Idaho....
Why secession? I'd prefer expulsion... OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!!!
Please ~ping~ me to articles relating to the 10th Amendment/States Rights so I can engage the pinger.
I continue to add names to the ping list as I run across others participating on similar threads. If you want off the list just say so.

Excerpted from the Declaration of Independence:
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies;
For that last word, "Colonies", substitute "States and the citizens thereof."
I am one native Idahoan who is prepared to do what I can to assist in the furtherance of this cause. Time will tell how that gets specifically defined.
That works too, yeah.
We simply can’t allow them to take any more of our Rights’ away without a fight..I for one want ALL of my Rights’ restored and this Federal Government placed back within the Chains of the Constitution!
Our we must demand our State to leave
Michigan wont pass. None of the socialist states will pass this.
Sorry about that “our” Suppose to say “Or”..
I figure the Freedom loving people of Idaho have had enough! We really don’t share the values of 55% of American nor this Chicago THUG they elected President neither..If only our Sister State {Montana} would join us we would have Oil & More hunting
