Comedian Jackie Mason used what some say is a racial epithet in describing President Barack Obama during his act Friday night, infuriating at least several people in the crowd.
We spoke with Mason by phone a few minutes ago, and he was outraged at the criticism, saying, "I'm not going to defend myself. Chris Rock has told a lot more jokes about whites than I have against Blacks. What about the demeaning words Blacks say about Jews?"

Go Jackie!!!
Equal time for Jackie Mason!
I agree.
To his credit, Mr. Rock has been pretty hard on 'people of color' himself.
Actually I think Obama is more meshuga..
1. Schwartza Yiddish or German term meaning "black person". It is not a hateful term. Shaquille O'Neal is considered a schwartza since he is a black man.
2. Schwartza A Yiddish term that American Jews use to call a black person an "N word" without them knowing. It is extremely derogatory Dad, why did you call Kobe Bryant a dumb schwartza when he hit the winning shot against us?
(copied from "The Urban Dictionary" http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=schwartza)
Jackie Mason can use whatever descriptive term he chooses, for whomever he chooses. It's his right. People who are "offended" are also within their right. But, "offense" doesn't grant the authority to trample the rights of others. That's offensive.
Kudos to Jackie Mason if he doesn’t back down from the race hustling apology demanders.
Jackie Mason tired of Obama’s lies.

Chief Mel Brooks in Blazing Saddles-” Wow,they darker then us.”
Don’t forget to freep the poll in the article.
When Jackie Mason was a kid or even a young man, the word had no derogatory connotation. It was simply descriptive. My grandparents used it with no insult intended.
I agree that with the advent of PC, some people find the word derogatory.
This is what PC has done to us. It has made word slurs if you are talking to one population and ordinary language if you are talking to another.
Glad he mentions Chris Rock—Read Rock’s book —Rock This—a best seller a few years ago. In it, he says that if OJ was one day proven to be not guilty, then Nicole’s bereaved mother and sister should be forced to “F#*k” OJ by way of apology.
And yet no one has said or done anything to that pigturd—(he better thank God that I’m not a member of the Brown family) Hell, he hosted the Oscars after (badly) after he wrote that.
Imagine if a white comic had said the same stuff about Coretta Scott King and James Earl Ray, or James Byrd’s mother and sister and Byrd’s killers.
Jessie “Just a Hymie in Hymietown” Jackson wants an apology? Now THAT’S chuzpah!
“Hast du sehen in deine Leben? They darker than us! Woof!”
