That’s a male bird they have there. Now they need a female one so the male one constructs a nest so she can sit on some eggs. He could find other other female birds to nest with if he doesn’t get what he wants.

"Will have to stay out in more showers!

Where you are is not where I am. There are seagulls that land 10 miles inland here over a mountain and the act like they run the show. They scare cats and dogs and every other bird off. And run the dumpster food chain while here. But not me.

One fat seagull had it's landing gear down and was heading straight for my windshield. I made a big noise with a horn. They are fatter than they should be.

I don’t recall you telling me that. Well, it gave you a taste of the ‘seaside’ anyway!

I have a fig tree and loquat tree. The birds and squirrels love the figs.

At least it was not an Albatross!

Get some Cherry trees - and let the birds repaint your house!

One thing I left out in my post to you is there are big CA condors around that could have them for lunch instead of the rabbit cuisine they fashion.

I like condors. Their wing span is 6-8 feet and they make big noise as a warning from 600 feet up. Find a picture. They live as high up the hills as they can. Nice looking birds. You can't get a big breakfast egg from them without problems.

Yikes, I forgot about my huge Mulberry tree! They stain everything. I can remember when my kids were small, watching they didn’t walk in them and track it inside.

It would stain their clothes too.

Spring break for birds gone wild? If Canadian geese are hanging around with seagulls, then we have a gang problem. They became to lazy to catch fish.

For a tiny zoo, Syracuse has a pretty successful breeding program.
