I’m burning all of my lights too - my neighbor’s house (Obama supporters) across the street is pitch black. I think they’re actually having a party in the dark - there’s cars all over the place over there.

I've got DirecTV and am watching a network channel from the EAST COAST right now. They had a news "teaser" earlier and said that all the lights would be going out tonight. "We'll tell you why at 10!"

ROTFL!!! Duh? I guess those that find out at 10 can do their own private "earth hour" at a later time.

I have 32 incandescent bulbs burning, 2 tv’s on, computer, washing and drying a load of towels with hot water heated by electric and dried on high heat. I'm sure my neighbors are pissed at me. My husband even hung up some Christmas lights and they are on too. Other than us, our apartment complex is pretty dark.

I did move out the refrigerator though and vacuumed the back of it, got lots of cat hair off of it.
