So in these first 100 days of our new administration, I have witnessed the underwriting of banks, commercial lenders, closing of prisons that held enemies of our nation. Wait! we should not use terms like war of terrorism , GM is being taken over! A CEO being fired by Obama. We are headed down a horrible path folks. I cannot speak of these things with people at work or on the street. I only have this forum to vent, so excuse me if I sound pent up , I am ! How gullible can the voters be? I was resigned to wait the four years for our next election, I am not sure we will survive it! God help us. Castro, Chaves Iranian idiot , and now our own Obama. I can't decide if he is just stupid or hates our country. Castro had a plan on how to genetically make cows produce more milk... we all know what a milk powerhouse Cuba became huh? I love the USA, I can't stand to watch it become the USSA. Can I move to Texas and call for a temporary secession until the next election?

The way things are going downhill here, we may soon be applying for visas to go to Cuba!

Yes, except that now there is no place left to go. The United States was the last bastion of Liberty in this totalitarian statist world.

Maybe New Zealand.

Can’t really think of anyplace that’s really free anymore.

There are many of us out here in the cold that see exactly what you are writing.
The truth is that Obama our Dictator of the U.S., (DOTUS) has nationalized the banks, Lending institutions the auto Industry and we may soon see the communications industry as was as our national grid come under Obama’s nationalization plans.
I wonder if the people of America will not rise up and overthrow this Obomanation.
Please read Frank Salavto’s essay “We are NOT a Democracy.”

Perhaps that will put things into a better perspective.

How do we take it back? How do we reclaim our great country. We can't just let the loons take what founders created for all if us and give up. If it's protests let's protest, let's vote, vote, vote. The GOP has to get an act together. I really fear for our nation. My father was terrified by Carter, I think Zero is much bigger threat.

I haven’t read the book, but regarding the subject “We are not a democracy”...

An excellent, short & easy to understand video:

www.wimp.com/thegovernment is an excellent lesson regarding a republic vs. democracy. It’s worth the watch.

There is no hope in taking the country back until most Americans are hurting very badly. Then they might wake up.

Yes it has. And the next few days should be interesting with the G20 meetings lined up. Hang in there, we’re with you on this.

(Hopefully our computers won’t go kaput in 1/2 hour.)

There’s no place for conservatives to presently go to. The entire Earth is now pro-leftist. Canada, Great Britain, Switzerland, and Hong Kong are still more socialistic than many people even realize. Conservatism will probably make a serious comeback in the future, but exactly where and exactly when are the questions. China is behaving more like a capitalistic country everyday, but the U.S. is still the best bet for a serious conservative comeback sometime in the future. It seriously won’t be enough for a majority of conservatives to just win in the U.S. in ‘10, ‘12, and beyond, if leftist legislation that’s already in place still does all of the future financial damage upon the entire U.S. for as far as the next several decades. Conservatives will just get the blame for such damage with too many of the general voting public not even realizing that it was Obama and the leftists in this present Congress that put such “damage” in place awhile ago. What a long-term “mess” upon this country!

I remember these words .... I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the *republic* for which it stands, one nation indivisible under god with liberty and justice for all. I started my school days when this was said to get us started every day... maybe it's time we instagated a private education system that fosters love our country and respect for it's principles.

I listened to a speach by Ronald Reagan (yes I am a total groopie) that he gave in 1964 in support of ?? Goldwater . O.K. Goldwater lost that one, but Reagan came on back like the sword of Michael. That speach called a spade a spade. And he did it in his typical candid and humorous manner. Candor people, the left works and thrives on lies, we cannot go into “silent majority mode”. If Obamanation takes our voice we are done for. Thanks to all of you for hearing my rant and thanks for not making me feel crazy.
Good night and god bless US all.

Be glad to have you in Texas. Want to invest in a blueberry farm? You know what - it may be not long before things are better in Cuba than in the USSA. It is very ironic that there may be more freedom and liberty in Iraq than here. Heard today that people are buying Hummers like crazy and gasoline is less than $1.00 a gallon, don’t remember exactly. God bless you.

People have become such drones in this country. Kids are being taught all kinds of crap. TV, movies, music, newspapers, whatever else are nothing but propaganda for the left these days. Only thing good on TV is “24” and reruns of Cheyenne and stuff made in the late 50’s and early 60’s. God help me, I hate to see what is happening. I want to help turn things around but have little in the way of resources to do much - so I send e-mails and call elected officials.

You can also add political indoctrination in schools at every level to your list of leftist domination. This list involves the entire world and not just the U.S. whenever discussing “everything leftist”. All leftist domination involves the entire world, and this is the ongoing problem with it.
