A Thai citizen has been sentenced to 10 years in jail for violating strict laws against insulting the monarchy. A court in Bangkok said Suwicha Thakho, 34, digitally altered images of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and his family and posted them on the internet.

Did a few stops in Pattaya during my Navy days. During the port briefs, we were told several things to NEVER, EVER do in Thailand:
Do NOT rent jet skis on the beach.
Do NOT get in the ring and go Thai boxing.
And under no circumstances do you EVER, EVER insult or make fun of the royal family.
