Would any member of President Obama's staff dare tell him any such thing today?
Watergate was Nixon's 800-pound gorilla everybody talked about, who sat there until he broke the sofa. The location of Obama's birth is an 800-pound gorilla that gets fatter every day and nobody — at least nobody in major media — likes to admit its existence. There's never been a coming-together of factors resembling this one in America's entire political history.
At no point until now has the birthplace of a president been anything more than a local chamber-of-commerce item of pride (where I come, from they're still arguing whether President James Polk was born in Tennessee or North Carolina!). All of a sudden the question of President Obama's birth place threatens to undermine his very eligibility to serve, and to toss America into a constitutional crisis of unfathomable proportions.
In-depth journalism here would instinctively immerse itself in the growing blizzard of lawsuits launched by activists seeking "standing" (Do you have the right to question the president's eligibility to serve?) and writs of certiorari (Hey, Court! Will you please hear this case?). In-depth journalism would detail how many and who in which states are making the pile of challenges zoom.
In-depth journalism would distinguish between the challenges to President Obama's legitimacy on grounds of his alleged birth in Kenya versus his alleged status as a British subject by virtue of his father's citizenship. That's what in-depth journalism would do.

Although I’ve heard explanation after explanation as to why there’s a TOTAL CONSERVATIVE BLACKOUT of this topic, I still am not satisfied with their reasoning.
Just why in the hell are Rush, Hannity, Beck, Coulter, Malkin, FoxNews, DrudgeReport, (and you fill in the blank) REFUSING TO DISCUSS THIS? What’s in it for them? What in the hell are they afraid of? It’s a total BLACKOUT. Incomprehensible that not even ONE OF THEM HAS TOUCHED THIS TOPIC. This is disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!
The guy is a muslim, kenyan born, illegal alien, doesn’t even have a Selective Service Number, is commander-in-chief of our armed forces, is sitting in the White House, bowing to our enemies, making a fool out of our constitution, trashing our country, and on and on and on.

Something tells me it’s going to come out, and Obama will basically say that he refuses to leave office.

In the mean time I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but it does appear some things are being hidden, there's too many holes in his resume.
Why is everything surrounding Obama always a mystery? There are just too many unanswered questions. The grandmother mysteries on both sides are just typical examples of the types of subterfuge we have come to expect. I am absolutely amazed by all of it everyday. Shouldn't the public expect some transparency from their president. I don't get it?
But put an R after this jerks name and it would be 24/7 on the airwaves until the R was crushed. Just a different set of standards. Sickening.
Even this guy gets it wrong. We've been shown an alleged "Certification of Live Birth", which is most commonly issued by the state when someone wants a copy of their birth record. A "Certificate of Live Birth" *IS* what Hawaii, and many other states, call the original birth certificate. It contains a lot more information, and is somewhat harder to forge, because it contains signatures of the doctor or other "attendant"/witness to the birth as well as a parent's signature and a signature of the hospital registrar for a birth in a hospital.
It would also show if the birth was registered as a home birth, with only the mother's and a witness, such as the grandmother's, signatures. A 1961 non hospital birth certificate of someone whose mother was only 18 and whose maternal grandmother was reasonably well to do, and reasonably well connected due to her banking job, would raise suspicions of a foreign birth
He'd officially be a usurping tyrant then. That could be .... interesting.
