My toddler Niece got one of the goldfish like your
picture from a local shopping center fair.
My Sister did not have a goldfish bowl so she put
it in a large bowl.
I went to visit them and my Niece had to show me
her fish.
She grabbed my hand to go to the dining room where
the fish was in the bowl.
The bowl was empty and I felt something under my boot.
The poor fish might have been dead before but it was
dead after I stepped on it.
Their cat came running in from another room and licked
it.
My Niece said “Look oncle, the kitty cat is going to
kiss it and make it well.”.
I just grabbed her up and started telling her about a
doll I had seen as I took her back to the living room.
