Stevie Nicks says Lindsay Lohan can do a movie about her life 'over my dead body'
NY Daily News ^

Posted on 04/11/2009 4:38:57 PM PDT by Perdogg

Lindsay Lohan's new post-breakup makeover hasn't won over singer Steve Nicks, who was less-than-impressed to hear that the troubled starlet is desperate to play her on film.

"Over my dead body," the 60-year-old singer told the New York Times after learning that Lohan was interested in buying the rights to her life story in order to nab the lead role.

Remember when musicians used to be famous for being talented rather than being famous because they were famous?

They should get Jerry Lewis to do Nicks’ life — her voice is the same as his.

When the MSM is temporarily tired of bashing Sarah Palin, they use Lindsay Lohan as a filler.

I should give Stevie Nicks hell but she went to entertain our wounded troops at Walter Reed and has been part of the USO tour as well.
Lindsay Lohan on the other hand, her only talent is having a nice rack and expertly getting hammered on ludes’.

She was always a fox to me. - Now she looks pretty large.

Sigh. There goes another young memory shot down by a former babe going fat...

One of those talents came from a surgeon, I guess she can take pride in her other talent.

I just want her to lose weight

She lost 60 lbs for her 60th birthday. Never liked any of her solo work but she did some great work with Fleetwood Mac. Gold dust women, Dreams etc...

Lindsey Lohan has pissed away practically everthing. She's pathetic actually.

Oh you are BAD! LOL!

Stevie did so much cocaine back in the day that the inside of her nose collapsed and had to be completely restructured. She also slept with so many musicians, producers and music biz people (Mick Fleetwood, Tom Petty, Jimmy Iovine, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Glenn Frey, Lindsey Buckingham, and on and on and on...) that she'd be able to probably fill two 747s with all the people she bedded. And now that she's almost 61-years-old, she takes this 'holier-than-thou' approach as to whom should play her in a movie? Please!

She should be happy that someone is seeking to play her in a movie. I remember a few years ago, there was a project with the Go-Go's for a made-for-TV movie about their lives and Reese Witherspoon was scheduled to play a young Belinda. There was talk that Jessica Alba might also have played Belinda. That movie project has gone nowehere in over 10 years.

I actually got to see Fleetwood Mac on tour this past March in Pittsburgh at the Mellon Arena. The show was awesome; Nicks was really good; Mick Fleetwood as really great; and Lindsay Buckingham...well, he is just awesome on guitar. Stevie had a few wardrobe changes (breaks?) and she is still rocking the gypsie vibe. Fleetwood is still Fleetwood just older; and Buckingham was incredible.

When I am 61 I hope I look that good.

The Witchy Princess recently disparaged Britney Spears, too, saying that she hasn’t paid her dues because she didn’t live the starving artist lifestyle. In the 70’s I guess. When pressed, it was Stevie categorizing herself as a rock legend.. which Britney neither is, nor has ever aspired to be, as far as I can tell.

fail!

Britney is what, 28 years old now? We’ll have to wait & see how music history categorizes her in about 25 years or so. All her records have been #1 in the charts, in one way or another. I think that, even though she didn’t go through the 70’s “starving artist lifestyle”, Brit has paid her dues in many ways, especially after starting in the business at age 5 or 6 and totally missing out on her childhood, a la Michael Jackson. Stevie slept her way through in the business.

Stevie should just chill out.
