Does this make them targets for scam artists? I wonder how many lawsuits against new drivers will come out because it’s pretty easy to scare new drivers into over reacting.

I don’t like this at all. NO adult should be forced by the government to put something on their car that reveals personal information about themselves.
I wonder if they will do something similar for drivers that are over 70 years old?

And how about convicted DUI’s? How about those with prescriptions for Xanax & Valium? Hmmm - and maybe there could be a plate for _______ (fill in the blank, any other hazard on the road).

So the young driver is going to have to keep track of these decals and remember to put them on before they start driving a different vehicle? What if they “forget”?

"And how about convicted DUIs?"We already do that here in Ohio. Bright yellow plates with scarlet lettering of shame.

Bad idea. The kids could be exploited by criminals in all sorts of ways.

So much for equal protection under the law. If I were 18 and forced to do this I’d consider suing for age discrimination.

Of course. My dealership is now getting $175./hour so now I'm doing the mechanical work myself. Times is hard.
