He is now hereby disqualified from living in the People’s Republic of Des Moines - “is that a corn cob in your pink bib-overalls or are you just happy to see me?” or from competing in the Miss America contest. I certainly hope he thought about those things before speaking out.

I guess this means he’s not planning on entering the Miss USA pageant any time soon.

A lefty like Barry’s opposition to same sex marriage demonstrates two important points:

1) Opposition to same sex marriage is certainly not an out of the mainstream view, the way the media would like to potray it.

2) If the GOP wants to expand its base and win elections, the worst thing to do would be abandoning its pro-life and anti-same sex marriage positions. A majority of black and hispanic voters share Barry’s opposition to same sex marriage.

One can only hope that this attraction the Dem's have with Islam and how their lifestyles conflict with it, could split up the party in the very near future. A little ray of sunshine on a dark and stormy horizon :)
