Please watch the video of the trainer of the winner after the win and you see his handgun on his right side. It is the video titled "they will know me now?'

Kentucky is an OC state but it is nice to see the New Mexico trainer take advantage. I am not surprised considering he drove the horse 1400 miles to get to the Derby and he was on crutches. In that state of injury having extra protection is prudent especially when you have a 400K Derby prospect.

No wonder he refused to fly. Had to have his sidearm.

Love the guy.

I’ve won some money betting on the Borel brothers.

This will be all over the panty-waste morning shows tomorrow morning. Cant you just see Matt Lauer all twisted out of shape about somebody carrying a sidearm in a crowd of thousands?

So, what is the law in Baltimore, MD site of Pimlico Race Course and The Preakness Stakes where they are headed in two weeks?

HAHAHAHAHA! (Laughing so I don't cry) I don't think you could open carry here unless you were an on-duty LEO.

I thought I saw a gun and then they changed the angle or had some kind of crawl across the bottom which blocked it.

Md requires a LTC. Just about impossible to get. Otherwise no OC or CC allowed. Just federal transport law is generally followed. Guns have to be separate from ammo in locked cases and not available to driver.
