I did more critiques of Billy’s comments in post #140. Referencing the Cardassians at such an early point is yet one more flaw. It seems like if they had been around, the Federation would’ve been at war with them from the get-go, and they would’ve presumably sought to liberate the Bajorans (something Kirk would’ve relished doing, as he loved to free oppressed or stagnant societies, that good old bipartisan American sense of right and wrong before the moonbat anti-war left hijacked the Democrats in the late ‘60s). I’ll state, however, despite having watched DS9 and TNG, I don’t proclaim to be a scholar on those. I’d say, however, after having watched the TOS eps probably as much as two dozen times each (yeah, I know, I should’ve gotten a life), I’m probably more a scholar on that.
