Sarah Palin is On the Move, Support HER!!
Free Republic ^ | 5/11/09 | Candor7

Sarah Palin is the hope of our nation. She is a self made politician, had no silver Republican spoon in her mouth, her shadow never graced the vaunted halls of liberal ivy league academe. That is a HUGE plus.

She has the skills gleaned from her youth, of a frontier woman. She has common sense, reflects the values of our nation of steadfast patriotism, frugality of budgeting, compassion for the unborn, all the positive attributes of a Mother of our nation. She has faced corruption in her own state government and within the Alaskan Republican party and cleaned it up, and supported the defense of a Senate candidate who faced bogus prosecution designed specifically by democrat prosecutors to usurp the will of the electorate.

Sarah scares the left and also the whining RINOS who now call themselves Republicans. Anyone who looks at Sarah Palin as other than a gift of leadership and hope for a traduced nation has got to have moonbat syndrome plus.

You bet the Dems are afraid of Palin, and so are the patriarchs of the Republican party who want to keep bleeding the nation with pork piled bills for their relatives and patronage, while refusing to listen to their own constituents who cry " NO." These RINOS even refuse to secure the nation by enforcing current immigration and illegal alien laws.

The continuous campaign to dis-empower Palin through bogus ethics complaints, baseless negative commentary in the media , much of it of a personal nature, is a horrible exercise in the self destruction of a nation. When Palin is attacked, every ordinary , hard working , patriotic American is attacked. And we should take that attack on each of us as being VERY personal.

Sarah has a PAC, and I support it. If she had enough funding she could go on the attack herself against her crooked critics, and file ethics violations against Democrat attorneys who seek to use our system of justice to achieve political ends that they know they cannot achieve at the ballot box should Palin run her own presidential campaign. She could even hire an Anne Coulter as her manager and loose her on those who make these scurrilous attacks on her.

You bet the Dems are afraid of Palin. She is the bolt and the arrow that will pierce Obama to the heart, and bring the light to a nation now in the dark, suffering under the tyrannical ministrations of a nationalist socialist president and his apparatchik running dogs.

Go the Sarahs PAC and donate. No better action can assure the eventual destruction of Obama and his politics, and Sarah means to do just that. She has no use for he Republican elite, but she will become so powerful that they will have to address her as a genuine candidate for the office of president. She certainly has far more experience and patriotism that the current poseur who now occupies the office.Sarah Palin has the ability to oust Obama, and to undo all the damage he is now doing. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see THAT. Even the most iggied Dem nationalist socialist blivet sees THAT, and piddles in their sordid little cod piece in rabid, reactionary fear.Palin gives them all a serious case of the shakes, because as she lives and breathes, she represents the TRUE America, not the Utopian Socialist disaster which a generation of whackos have sought to ram down the throats of decent Americans.

And the RINOS see Palin's potential too, and stand in her way as ensconced good old boy bullies, but Sarah knows how to handle bullies, and has proven THAT time and again.

Clear the decks for Palin folks. She is on the move, get behind her by contributing to her PAC.

Short of heading to Washington with pitchforks, no more effective action can be taken to oust Obama and his circus of freaks.Donate and allow Palin to become a power house of American truth, light and decency.

Yeah right...whatever.

The time for talking the talk is over. Either walk the walk now, or I suggest that her FR detractors find another forum on which to bash her, perhaps DU or KOS

Yes, you are correct that you merely suggested not directly demanded...but your suggestion is still out of line.

Agreement on Palin as a candidate is not a litmus test for posting on this forum.

There are many of us who believe that Palin is not Conservative enough.

Whoa! 43 posts into this thread and this is the only one that I don't understand.

Would you care to elaborate?

My biggest problem with Palin is the fact that she let the media manipulate her!

Well, considering that the McCain campaign and the backstabbing staff he imposed upon her pretty much made all of her decisions for her, at least until the last week of the campaign, I'd say that she had NO choice about who interviewed her and the venue.

So, Sarah Palin can be controlled by staffers on the McCain campaign, and it is all their fault and not any of her own, but at the same time she is independent and strong enough to run the most powerful nation on the face of the Earth?

I don't think it works that way, Do you?

Which is it? Was Sarah Palin manipulated by some political science major with a clip board, telling her how to behave, what to say, and how to say it? Or did Sarah Palin make her own mistakes during (and after) the campaign?

Why should anyone vote for someone who you claim is so frighteningly easy to control?

Do you feel your claims of how helpless she is in the face of nameless McCain staff members is a credit to her abilities? I can assure you it is not.

Honestly, if Sarah were to ask me, (not gunna happen) I would have to say to her, don't do it. Enjoy your life, take care of your family. However...the fact that the Left is so scared of her that they feel they need to destroy her, tells me something; they believe there is a good chance that she will run.

This happens anytime an authentic conservative with courage appears on the scene. It happened with Goldwater, Reagan and Thatcher.

We conservatives have to understand this. We will always be doing battle on hostile terrain.

When a courageous conservative steps into the breach we owe him/her our unconditional and unwavering support.

"Courage is the first of human qualities because it is the quality which guarantees all others." Winston Churchill

Dude, nobody's suggesting that she be coronated. As I've said before, her record is fair game if anyone cares to try and pick it apart rather than throwing out grossly misleading generalizations.

However, what I'm seeing is ramped-up ad hominem attacks against her and her family rather than criticism of her record, mainly by Romneyites and others with agendas other than the Conservative movement.

Quite frankly, I'm sick and tired of the nasty smears and personal slams, especially against Palin's daughter and grandchild. It's bad enough we have to put up with it in the MSM and on lib-dominated newsites. We shouldn't have to here, of all places.

Palin is a moderate populist who leans conservative (a lot like Thompson), but is not a Conservative.

Sounds like a reasonable definition of a conservative to me.

BTW. I voted for Thompson as well as did about 70% of Freepers. Thompson is a conservative and likes Palin.

Sarah Palin is not a politician, in the sense that she is not a facade projector trying to be all things to all people and holding no fundamental values that are allowed to be exposed.

If you think about what is disgusting in the vast majority of our politicians today—in all parties—it is that they project all kinds of values most of which are just adoptees not actually held as fundamental in their lives.

Sarah is very different, and it showed the very first time we the people got to see her on the national stage. Sarah Palin is a genuine person, a person of fundamental values grounded in ‘a fear of God, and thus a deep and abiding respect for and reliance upon His Spiritual guidance.’ So, how does this make her different and more a person for the people?

Well, she will make decisions and offer leadership which is true to her convictions! How is that different from politicians of our day or any day? Look at the past three men who have sat in OUR Oval Office. Not one of them stayed true to the values they appeared to espouse while running to get elected. Sarah has not wavered from her values because they guide her. The lust to be in control of US isn't what guides Sarah, the desire to make our nation better as a servant to US is what guides Sarah Palin.

Does holding the servant's heart make her weaker? On the contrary, she is led by her fundamental values which have God first, then family, then we the people in whatever capacity she is elected to serve. She showed this in mayoral life. She is showing it in governorship, and she gave strong indication that she would be that same person if in the presidency. And THAT is what scares the bejeebers out of the political class in both parties ... Sarah Palin will not be driven by special interests, she will be driven by the desire to serve We The People as one of US and always humble before OUR God.

Scoff if you will at such basic values as fear of the Lord, but know this, our current politicians mock God at every turn. We have decades of proof that both parties are corrupted. One need only study the issue of abortion on demand to see that the democrat party has been washing their political capital in the blood of the innocent alive unborn, and the Republicans have been compromising the slaughter of these children in order to empower themselves as the perpetual opposition to abortion on demand, without actually ending the slaughter, just chipping away at the rarest of the evil acts while maintaining the slaughter in perpetuity so they can have a political issue.

Sarah Palin is a different kind of American that the political class no longer recognizes as part of We The People, because OUR values as fundamental to the health and survival of OUR nation are not the goal of the leadership of both parties. Their perpetuation in power is the goal of both parties. And the Republicans are only a little less likely to us anything to empower themselves.

God's Spirit empowers Sarah Palin because she remains ‘head bowed in His presence’, if you will allow an allegorical image. She doesn't wear it on her sleeves, that would be manipulation of us to be so blatant. But she proves her humility before God with the life she lives. There is no greater witness, to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. Perhaps that's why some of us find the blatant smears and lies regarding Sarah Palin some FR posters try to make so telling of the spirit that leads them.

Many cannot discern the value of a humble servant heart. That doesn't make one weak when God is the one whom such is humble before, first. Arrogance is telling of the spirit who leads some. Denegrating a person like Sarah Palin by attacking her family and family values, by claiming she is not smart enough to lead the nation is telling of the spirit which guides the accusers.

So, tell us what evidence you have weighed and how you came to your conclusions. Others will speak for themselves.

Aside from some policy differences, there is this:

The fact that so many of her most ardent supporters blame the media, John McCain's staffers, newspaper columnists, RINOS, "jealous women", other conservatives, anyone and everyone else when she makes mistakes, is a big part of it.

The idea that it is always everyone else's fault is distasteful in the extreme. Politicians make mistakes. Admit it, learn from it, and move on.

When so many of her supporters demand unwavering support and are now telling even her Conservative critics that there is no place for them if they dare disagree, they are saying that she needs a pass on harsh criticism, that she can't make it without special treatment.

That may not be their intention, but that is the message this sort of thing broadcasts loudly.

The idea of coronating anyone for the office of President is one of the single most distasteful things most conservatives can think of. No one deserves the Presidency. They get it on their own merits or on their perceived merits or they will not get it at all.

If you want to make conservatives run screaming, tell them they have to support her or else. Like the Founding Fathers, we're not all that keen on royalty.

Everyone is going to get slammed. It’s the nature of politics. And certainly here on FR. There are going to be people promoting their guy at the expense of everyone else. Palin fans are the same way in that regard. It’s just the nature of the beast. There are many folks here that don’t particularly care for her, for many different reasons. There are others, like me, who will remain ambivalent about her until she starts clarifying and solidifying her conservative positions.

Fans of Mitt, Paul, Huck, Sanford, and the rest are not going to agree drop their criticisms.
