Aww she is cute. Too bad that rabbit didn’t do a better job on Carter. I wonder if all rabbits scare him now. I hope so.

Awwwwww, they're cute! They do look like our cotton tails tho.
In the past they have been prime targets for my .22 Beeman Kodiak pellet rifle but after rescuing two babies in my back yard last year at this time I've kinda gotten a change of heart.
Don't tell anybody ok? If anybody asks, just tell them HT is the rabbit slayer of S.E. Michigan......

Hey Swampsniper, I really enjoy your pictures, they are all outstanding! I always look at your posts. But I have to disagree about wimpy cottontails. Watch this, it’s not mine, I just ran across it, but it’s funny.

Must’ve been one of these seen recently on a YouTube video attacking, and chasing up a tree, a Texas rattlesnake. Google it.

Ahh yes, the Sylvilagus aquaticus. The ONLY animal that could put my old mother kitty on the run as a child! Mother kitty could out run and catch a squirrel, chase every dog out of the yard but one day a swamp rabbit defending her bunnies gave her a run for her life!
Great pics!
