Oh, Goody! Glad you found this, I can NEVER remember those three numbers at the end of your handle!
I usually end up pinging “668 Neighbor of the Beast” by accident, LOL!

My 2 horses provide a constant and reliable source of compost fertilizer, and it’s all natural too! Hee Hee.

Compost mostly comes from Washington DC nowadays... at least, that’s what we have to call it on a family forum. /rimshot

Thanks for the ping Red.
Good to read all the good reports about gardening success from
fellow freepers! We’ve had some greens (turnip) yellow and acorn squash, radishes and carrots from our little patch so far this spring. Lot of
good rain in the Hill Country.

Thanks for the ping... Good article. I am up to my eyeballs in strawberries right now. (15 gallon and counting) Then there is getting the other seeds and plants in the ground so I have not had the time to be at my computer for a few days.
I like how this man thinks about ‘compost’ and ‘composting’. My push mower with a bagger cuts and chops just about anything less than an inch thick. And I like to push mow around the garden to keep the weed seeds from getting broadcast by the riding mower. I usually get 3 bags of clippings just from mowing around my garden space. I also push mow up and collect the leaves in late fall and store them over the winter to add to the ‘green’ grass clippings for that ‘moisture’ preservation. But I do have to say that other than egg shells I do not put ‘meat’ items in the composter.
