“Which is not to say that they are usually reliable.”
And when you add in the fact that the source is a crackhead, doesn’t it make it even less reliable?
When the Rumsfeld story broke in GQ, I said on that thread that if the story was true, I thought it was imprudent of Rumsfeld to put Bible quotes on pictures of war.
There was somewhat of a kerfuffle and a couple of folks wanted to know why I was just going to BELIEVE the story.
I responded that I had said, “if it was true”...but that GQ wasn’t the National Enquirer.
The Globe, from what I understand, would have to ASPIRE to be the Enquirer.
So, on the one hand, it was wrong of me to judge Rummy based on a story in GQ, but everyone’s kind of piling on Obama for a story in The Globe.
The Globe kind of panders to the worst in society.
I’d be more inclined to believe the Globe on Obama than GQ on Rumsfeld, as a matter of fact.
What we have a maybe a dozen small factors—including the photo of Obama and his roommate posted above—which suggest that he might be gay.
In other words, if someone said that Bush is gay, I’d respond that I’ve never seen a single reason to think so. Or if someone said that Biden is gay, I’d say the same thing. But if someone said that Obama is gay, I’d say, yes, it’s certainly possible, even likely. And if someone said that hillary is lesbian, I’d say the same thing.
Not because I don’t like his politics, or her politics but because of all the factors which point that way, though none of them is ironclad proof in itself.
So not proven, but something to keep an eye on as the situation develops and possibly new information comes out.
