What would we be saying if this was a Republican president?

We'd be saying it's a lie, because it would be a lie. Republicans tend to be crack-smoking, homo low-lifes far less often than Democrats. But more importantly, we should be asking what the Democrats would be doing if this were a Republican, and I guarantee you the answer is that they would be going after this story with every means in their disposal. They would use any story, true or false, to damage the Republican to the maximum extent possible, and they have the media in their pocket. So I do not think that we, for one second, should hesitate to use whatever we have available. This is total war now.
