Is this subject to abuse? Someone sent me this video so I don't know the details. I expect we will hear a lot more about it soon.

Kind of cool, but yeah it sure could be abused. Once and a while it's bound to make a mistake too.

That was in Canada. I wonder if there is anything that would prevent it from being used in the states? (Or is it already being used?)

It was an informative video, abuse? I'm not sure, but if it gets criminals off the streets, I'm all for it.

Ripe for abuse.

This system presumes all LEOs are uncorruptable.

I'm not sure what you mean by limiting it. I stopped looking over my shoulder years ago, so if they bring me and my vehicle up on their radar, I have nothing to hide.

You'd best not rock any boats then. Don't ever criticize any politicians, never complain about anything!

Just be a good little worker bee!

I'm also biased because I'm from Canada and the first segment they had shown on the video was pertaining to uninsured vehicles.
Canada does not take vehicle insurance or lack there of lightly. Last I heard, a first offense was a $1500.00 fine.
Yet, in Arkansas, first offense, the judge gives you 2-4 weeks to obtain insurance and present it to the court, and you're on your way. LOL
But, I see what you are saying...another step closer to stomping on our first amendment rights.

1884?! That's even before FDR gave his fireside chats on the TV!   ;-)

I have come to believe that government is no longer to be trusted, by anyone who wants to be free. If anything can be abused, it will be!
