I guess I will update it, but mostly I use Chrome now. It’s so fast & convenient.

I installed the 3.5 beta several weeks ago.
It’s at least 30 to 50 percent faster.
Noticably so.

I cringe every time I read/hear Upgrade/Update.
They can create more problems than they solve.

The problem with Firefox is that many times the extensions/add-ons aren’t updated to work with the newer version.
Sometimes, the author just doesn’t update. Other times, the author updates — after a while.

I am glad to hear 3.5 is faster. I think I will give it a try. I like Firefox, but IE8 seems to be quicker than Firefox, at least on my machines.

I downloaded it this AM when I saw the /. article about it. I’ve seen some pretty significant improvements in speed with 3.5. Shoulda been on the beta.

They were desperately trying to release it before the end of June. Just made it, barely.

You guys know anything about e-mail problems at excite.com?
I have three PC’s and all of them are having problems retrieving mail. Their help site is useless and I can’t find anything on the web via Google.
Also, how would one download e-mails and contacts from a site like that to import them or read them on another e-mail client.
Thanks in advance

I'm using Firefox 3.5 right now and under Windows Vista Home Premium (SP2), the rendering speed is amazing--in some cases pages fully render a couple of times faster than under Firefox 3.0.11.

It says that Cooliris will be disabled. I’ll wait till Cooliris releases a version compatible with the 3.5.
