I try not to think about who my grandson’s Commander in Chief is..
I thought Carter and Clinton were bad..O ffensive is worse.

I don’t talk much about zerO because I have high blood pressure.
He wants to change my country , weaken my country, destroy the Land of the Free.
He has a lot of socialist helpers.

I am so sorry your hip is still agonizing..Wish there were some good answers for you....a way to get relief..

Billie, thank you for such a lovely "bluebird thread" today. I only wish that I could have hung around longer. After the appointment my SIL and I came by the house a few moments and decided to go to the Chinese Restaurant Buffet for dinner and had a very good meal and some good conversation! Bluebirds seem to always makes all our 'hearts' cheerful!!

I understand about the Commander in Chief thing! Do you ever hear him mention the war or our wonderful heroes who are serving this wonderful country...NO...and you won’t!

Blood pressure? Mine was very high today and he increased my dosage for now. He told me the pain was probably making it go up! And that sounds reasonable to me. He wants me to go back to the Orthopedist and seems to think he will order a catscan or MRI for me. We will see!

38% is comfortable. Its relationship to temperature levels is critical.

Here it’s 72º right now. A dry 100º is easier to take than muggy 70s. Hard getting away from the ocean, though.

I am happy you got a car you like...I will probably get a used one, too..I don’t have good sources to research for me so I am a bit nervous about it...I’ll probaly stick with my old one until it dies on me..LOL

The doctor should order a test to check out what is going on with your hip!

Meg, I was planning on keeping my little Nissan Altima until I couldn’t. It had some age but under 50,000 miles, which no one could believe. Never had any motor work...nothing. When I would have it detailed, it looked like a brand new one! I kept the oil changed and good tires and that is why I wanted to keep it.

I am glad I had someone like David to help me though. The boys had been looking but they just don’t have a lot of time with jobs, etc. And I had to deal with insurance companies also which is the dickens!

Did you know the rental cars I drove had manual windows and locks and they were 2009 models. My Altima had everything automatic....its unbelievable! The car I bought has even more than the Altima. Its a 2005 Subaru Legacy, white outside, grey/black inside! One owner...drives beautiful! I was lucky that I like it better than the one I had...LOL!
You better get to bed or are you waiting on your little cuties to come for dinner? Wish I could see them!

HA!
I was just doing a search on best used cars and yours is listed.
I thought I should get at least some idea of what kind to look for...
I had to replace master cylinder and the A/C on this car..It is a pretty burgandy Buick but it was not good as far as early repairs went..
I am glad to see Carfax can give you a car history for a price if not offered by seller..
Most of the used cars I found in my area have more miles on them than my car..LOL

Is it south TX where you are? Near Prada?

Despite MA’s Family politics it is a beautiful place. We never have the water shortages like other states and are almost 70% forested, making spring and summer extraordinarily green, and autumn color legendary. It's hard to drag oneself away - even just talking about it.

Middle of no where? Luvie, if you live there - it’s got to be the center of Heaven on Earth. (Look how BIG the sky is!)

LOL! I haven’t seen that building in person...but it is very
strange, so I’ve heard. It is completely empty! (like the countryside?)
