Palin: Yeah, She’s Running And Ready To Rumble!

I pretty well nailed Governor Palin’s strategy when she announced. Today there is little doubt to what she intends to do:

“I am now looking ahead and how we can advance this country together with our values of less government intervention, greater energy independence, stronger national security, and much-needed fiscal restraint,” the former Republican vice presidential candidate wrote in a posting on her Facebook page. Palin’s spokeswoman, Meghan Stapleton, confirmed Palin wrote the entry.

One thing I did forget to mention in the previous post which is clear today - Palin is going to shove as much crow down as many arrogant, mouthy throats in the Political Industrial Complex as she can. And America will be cheering her on for the next decade as she does so. And she began today:

“To the extent several websites, most notably liberal Alaska blogger Shannyn Moore, are now claiming as ‘fact’ that Governor Palin resigned because she is ‘under federal investigation’ for embezzlement or other criminal wrongdoing, we will be exploring legal options this week to address such defamation,” Van Flein said in a statement. “This is to provide notice to Ms. Moore, and those who re-publish the defamation, such as Huffington Post, MSNBC, the New York Times and The Washington Post, that the Palins will not allow them to propagate defamatory material without answering to this in a court of law.”

The FBI reiterated that claim Saturday, telling the Los Angeles Times for a story Sunday that the Federal Bureau of Investigation was not investigating Palin’s activities as governor, a former mayor or in any other capacity.

“I am now looking ahead and how we can advance this country together with our values of less government intervention,

Well, she better reconcile this statement with the following statement from her website:

We also slowed the rate of government growth...

Is she FOR government growth or AGAINST it?

Don't blow smoke up our butts, Gov. Palin.

We're not as stupid as Ubama voters who can't tell they're being played for fools when he says one thing one day and the complete opposite the next.

Good luck to you, though. You have my support. But you're going to have to continue to earn it.

The intense speculation and continued attacks on Sarah Palin are remarkable. As I put it to libs on huffington toast: if she is too stupid, unprepared and damaged to run for POTUS in 2012 then you would think libs would encourage her to run. They would build her up like the media did McCain in 2008.

But instead they are all out trying to destroy her. Think of this fellow Palin supporters (you probably already have): She just made a decision and announcement that would have killed the career of anyone else. Yest even today the MSM have stories with questioning headlines like : Palin setting up for 2012?

Palin could easily become the next Reagan/Thatcher and the Libs know it. They are terrified of her so they keep on beating her down. Given the terror surfacing in the minds and hearts of the idiot Americans that voted for Obama, she can win. The bloom is off the rose and Obama is exposed for the fraudulent incompetent he actually is. 2010 will be very interesting. Once again, the GOP buffoon show may win by default!

Isn't that more or less what she said at her announcement? How does that mean she is running for anything?

She might just spend her time campaigning for other people who are running for office and try to help the Republicans pick up some House and Senate seats. This would add some national cohesion to some races which would otherwise be seen as local contests.

If this is supposed to be some sort of springboard to higher office, I'd say it's along the lines of McCain's suspending his campaign to pass the $700 Billion stimulus bill. Possibly mildly successful, but probably horrendously disastrous.

Great post. So glad to see the righteous FOX-bashing responses. FOX deserves every bit of it.

... the following statement from her website:

That refers to her position and actions in Alaska, whereas the prior statement refers to the US in general. No reconciliation needed.

ehhhhhhh.....yeah.

If she couldn't reduce the size of government in Alaska, how can she say she will reduce it in all of America?

Kind of reminds me of how Ubama campaigned on how he was going to solve all of America's problems when he couldn't even solve Chicago's problems.

I haven't done a search yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if Alaska has a smaller population than Chicago.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a Palin admirer. But not a worshipper. She better sort these things out ahead of time or don't say them at all.

Uh dude, do you have reading comprehension issues?

She didn’t say NO government growth. She said LESS. As long as there are progressives in powerful places, government is going to be out of step. She is not Superwoman, and no politician will be able to fix it all. Slowing the rate of government growth is the first step to bringing about less of it which is certainly a start.

My r.c. skills are better than yours, my brothah.

She didn’t say NO government growth. She said LESS.

She said less government INTERVENTION not less government GROWTH. How can you have less intervention with growth of any kind?

You’re straining at a gnat.

It is okay to trust but verify. But, to pretend that Sarah failed to fight against government just isn’t a fair assessment of her time in Alaska. Was she perfect? No. But far better than most out there. We will wait and see Sarah away from the governors seat and McCain’s handlers to see the real lady. I don’t think we will be disappointed.

It's a pre-emptive strike. I don't want her lying to me just like I don't want Ubama lying to me.

We're not Ubama voters. At least I'm not. I don't know about the rest of you. Maybe some of you people believed Ubama when he campaigned on a platform of saving or creating 2.5 million new jobs. But not me.

Maybe some of you believe you have to lose 6 million jobs before you can create 150,000 new jobs. But not me.

Maybe some of you believe we have to increase the national debt by 4 trillion dollars before we cut it in half. But not me.
