We’ve come to the end of an era. It is sad. Perhaps all the Detroit cars people have now will become collector’s items.

Never buy one of the first 100,000 of a new vehicle. That from the wife of an automotive engineer.

And is it true, not one made on a Monday, or before and after a long holiday weekend?

My P.O.S. was a 1982 2.2L 4-cylinder 3 speed. Your memory must be a POS also. The 1982 Camaro was never offered with a 2.2L engine. Perhaps you meant the 2.5L engine?
I love it when someone starts one of these bash GM threads and all you automotive experts chime in. My bet is, most of you were not going to buy a GM car anyway.

Good one!
But no one has problems anymore - just issues. It’s poor usage and politically correct(that’s why I can’t abide it).

I heard about that model. They were debating on whether it should be supercharged or turbocharged. Supercharging won out so it will indeed be blown! They also moved the intake to the tailpipe.

Before I buy a Government Motors Vehicle,I’ll buy a Nissan or Toyota or Ford. I don’t need the headaches.

Not usually. That’s why the unions got the extra time off. It’s really hard too, and unless you have connections, you can’t tell what day it was built on.

Thanks for your insight ....must be one of those “urban legends.”

The Hyundai and Kia have unbeatable warranties and from what I hear, have a loyal following too. Not sure how their resale value holds up.
