I want to know how many of us are going to get off our computers and actually do something that might make a difference. This march on Washington in two months is more important than anything you can do from now until the end of time. WE NEED TO SHOW UP IN NUMBERS THEY CANNOT IGNORE. Will you be there?
I have heard all the excuses..."I have a job" ...yea? TAKE TWO DAYS OFF. "I can't afford it"...DIG INTO YOUR SAVINGS or BORROW THE MONEY...This is a fight for the future of this Country. This isn't even a luxury any more.
I am literally BEGGING everyone to do whatever it takes to get their body to Washington, DC on September 12th.
If we can't get AT LEAST a million angry Americans to stand up to this reign of terror than we might as well give up...
WE ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN STOP THIS MADNESS.
I and the spousal unit will be driving from downeast Maine, staying in northern Virginia, and taking the Metro into the city.

But September is not going to be nearly enough. Next year, we need to divide all of us up so we can have groups of people in D.C. and in capitols and major cities around the country week after week, shutting down vehicular traffic. There is absolutely no other way to get Congress’ attention. Should we have to go to this “extreme”? No. But how else can we take our country back?
My daughter and I are talking about going.
If the Freepers had a block of hotel rooms, and some kind of organization and program, times and places to meet and do things, I would commit to going and would make a deposit/donation right away.

I am in a clinical trial at the National Cancer Institute. Adoptive Cell Transfer, a form of immunotherapy being researched for treatment of Stage 4 malignant melanoma. Right now it looks like my cells should be ready for infusion in late August / early September. First, a week of myeloablative chemo and whole body radiation are given, then the 45 +/- billion genetically engineered killer cells produced from a tumor removed from my lung in June are infused, followed by as many doses of Interleukin-2 at 8 hour intervals that the body can tolerate.
If I am in a condition which allows for a “pass” for several hours on that day, I will try to be there! Look for the bald guy who looks like he just got run over by a big truck! Dr Steven Rosenberg has given 38 years of his career working on a treatment breakthru for this disease. Now that significant durable results are starting to be seen in Phase 2 trials, it is NOT the time to curtail funding for this kind of research. I thank God that I have been a recipient of such cutting edge technology. I pray that many others will someday benefit.

We all hope that you will be able to join us in DC, but your health comes first. Be sure to follow doctors orders as we will know you will be with us in spirit like others who are not going to be able to come for various reasons.
We are working on getting a live stream set up so folks will be able to watch some of the Convention action on FR. Hoping that works out for the Freepers who will be unable to join us. I am also sure Freepers will be posting from DC while the Convention is in progress.
